You should start collecting wolf school armor when you reach level 10. Depending on the complexity of your path, start your search with more high level. If you think that you master the sword and the limits are not for you, then go ahead as is. But first, listen to this...
Each set of witcher armor from the wolf school consists of 6 items:
- Armor,
- Boots,
- Gloves,
- Trousers,
- Steel sword,
- Silver sword.

- Excellent armor (level 29);
- Master armor (34 levels);
- Grandmaster armor (41 levels);
- In Novigrad, Elf blacksmith Hattori sells 2 cards: for the beginning of the quest and for the masterful improvement of armor;
- To the right of Voronitsy, in the village of Zalipye, the local blacksmith sells one card for improved armor;

Assembling the starter kit
Let our wolf school treasure hunt begin with Level 14 and searches for armor entry level, which will become your lifesaver in battle with reptiles of any kind while you gain experience and skill.
1) Armor, Pants, Boots and Gloves
can be found on the body of a certain Hieronymus, which lies under the Signal Tower.
2) Steel Wolf Sword
is on the body of a certain Varin, you will find it in the south of the Kaer Morhen fortress.
3) Silver Wolf Sword
located on the body of a certain Hird, it is waiting for you in the north of the Kaer Morhen fortress.
Now that the initial kit has been assembled, you can move on to looking for the first improvements to the school.
Assembling an improved kit
I think you're ready to swap your entry-level armor for something interesting, wolf? If you get close to Level 21, then you can start!
1) Improved armor you can find it on the ruins of a once high tower in the southwestern part of the island from Kolomnitsa. The landmark is an image of a wolf on the wall of the tower. As soon as you find it, you need to turn around and in the water you will see a chest - a drawing of the armor there.
2) Improved pants they lie in an underwater chest north of Kaer Morhen, on the southern part of a small island, I’ll mark it on your map.
3) Improved boots are waiting for you in the Grotto. If you find a sign, you will find a cave, everything is there, inside.
4) Improved gloves are located in the cave of the dangerous forktail in the familiar area of Kaer Morhen. At the same time, you can complete Eskel’s quest if you have the desire and time. He will be glad of your help.
5) Improved Silver Sword located in the Bloody Baron's castle. This old warrior doesn't even know he's there. It’s simple, you need to enter the castle through the main gate, go to the estate and find an abandoned well, not the one in the yard, but which is located in the garden of the baron’s estate. If I remember correctly, you enter the garden and go left. Feel free to go down and find the treasured chest in the cave. Be careful!
6) Improved steel sword go look in the ruined watchtower in Kaer Morhen, bravely climb to the top of the southern wall and take the reward if you do not lose your head in the battle with the feathered creatures...
Putting together a great kit
I hope you are not too used to the improved armor of the wolf school, witcher. Because the time has come to collect excellent armor, especially if your the level has already reached 29. But my experience suggests that you can start earlier, if you have the skill, you really can’t put them on... Need level 29, wolf!
1) Excellent armor located on the main island of Skellige, in the fort. It stands north of Caer Muir and is infested with something vile. You need to climb along the wall to the foot of the tower and find the chest.
2) Great pants lie quietly in a cave in the west of Kaer Morhen. Get to the very end of the cave, there they are. In the chest.
3) Great boots are located in the opposite direction - in the east, but also in a cave, in a chest.
4) Great gloves are waiting for you in the Iron Mine, this is a mine in the southwest of Kaer Morhen. Be careful, this cave is guarded by a powerful creature. Don't go there without elixirs.
5) Excellent steel sword has been lying in the village of Lofoten for a long time, on eastern island Skellige. You need to go down to the basement, here and find the chest.
6) Excellent silver sword hidden in an old tomb on the south side of the village of Arinbjorn on the central island. Go into the first tomb and you will see a chest standing against the wall.
Assembling a master kit
Now we come to the interesting part of the story about how to assemble a complete set of armor. It was a long and thorny path to find and make real excellent armor. It's time to assemble your personal workshop armor, wolf if you have already reached level 34, or even more, then you can safely go in search of the lost treasure.
1) Master armor is waiting for you in a chest at the entrance to the elven ruins southeast of the village of Stitches. She's under guard.
2) Master pants lie on the island of Spikeroog, in ruins, along with the bandit camp that was spread out there. So, apply poison to the blade and go ahead. You will find the camp and ruins here:
5) Workshop steel sword is located globoko underwater, in a lake in the southwest of Velen. To find it, hold your breath and dive into the water, get to the sunken ship. There, under the stairs you will find a chest with a drawing.
6) Workshop silver sword hidden in a chest in a swamp in a locked dugout of two lovers on the Crooked Ear Marshes. It's still a swamp. Find their corpses to find the key to the gate behind which there is a chest. Be VERY careful! People disappear there all the time...
Assembling the grandmaster kit
Let it be thorny and long, witcher. You've traveled enough in master armor, gained experience up to level 41, and managed to win many victories, but did you know that there is a legend about armor stronger than stone? They belonged to one witcher, who buried the secret of this armor with himself. Are you ready to go in search of perfection?...To start your search you need to find the Grandmaster Blacksmith in Toussaint. Take the order from the notice board in Beauclair in the main market and you should be able to find it. He will tell you stories about five witchers who came to his elf teacher for special armor, but all the drawings were lost along with them...
All grandmaster armor wolf school are in one place - a cave. Go in search of Isabelle Duchamp's expedition to the archaeological camp. On the spot you will find a diary and then follow the situation. Be careful, this is a cursed place, which means there are a lot of damned souls lurking there!

In the bastion we are met by three ghosts. We chop them up. We use a magic lamp. We see how the witcher trains the boy. We climb the tower, find the remains of the boy and go to bury them. We bury them in the lower part of the fortress. In principle, you don’t have to complete the Bastion task.

Improved Silver Sword
Velen. Bloody Baron's Fortress. There is a well on the territory of the fortress, we go down and find the indicated chest.
Improved Boots
Velen. The grotto is located east of the village of Toderas. In the largest part of the cave we find the indicated chest.
Improved armor
Velen. The ruins are not far from the island of Kolomitsa. The chest is under water. When you find the image of a wolf, turn around and use your instincts to see a chest under the water.
Improved Steel Sword
Kaer Morhen. The ruins of a watchtower in the north of the Kaer Morhen location. Guarded by level 23 ghosts.
Improved Pants
Kaer Morhen. Northeast of Kaer Morhen Castle there will be a lake. At the indicated island, under the water there is a chest.
Improved Gloves
Kaer Morhen. South of Kaer Morhen location. Having arrived at the place along the path, you will find yourself between two rocks. The cave is located on the outside of the left rock, when looking towards the Kaer Morhen castle.
Great boots
Kaer Morhen. The bay east of the Kaer Morhen fortress. We enter the cave, go to the indicated place (on the radar). You can jump over stones, you can demolish them with a sign.
Great pants
Kaer Morhen. The cave is northwest of the Kaer Morhen fortress. This chest has great security. We find the place indicated on the radar. We remove the stones with the sign, there will be a chest behind them.
Great gloves
Kaer Morhen. South of the fortress. There will be a mine not far from the bridge. There's an elemental in the mine. There is a small chest on the stone table.
Excellent silver sword
Skelige. Northwestern part of the main island. In the indicated cellar we find a small chest.
Great steel sword
Skelige. South-west of the village of Lofoten. Enter the ruins from the side of the horse icon (indicated on the map). In the ruins we find a descent into a cave. There are poisonous gases in the cave. We set them on fire and run to the far side of the cave to the chest. (It is better to ignite the gases twice, on the left and on the right).
Excellent armor
Skelige. Main island. We slaughter everyone in the wooden fortress. We climb up the wall and there will be a chest on one side of the wall.
Master Silver Sword
Velen. Southeast part of the location. Not far from the Nilfgaardian garrison. We arrive at the indicated place. We find two corpses, in one of them we find the key to the gate, behind which lies a chest. There may be a wyvern near the place.
Master steel sword
Velen. Southwestern part of the location. At the indicated place we dive, swim into the hold of the ship, under the stairs where we swam there will be a chest.
Master armor
Velen. Southeast of the village of Stezhki. Ruins with a cat statue. If you stand with your back to the cat's face, the well with the chest will be on the right. The chest is small.
Workshop boots
Skelige. The island is southwest of the main one. We find ruins, near the wall of the tower, on the outside we find a chest.
Master Pants
Skelige. The island is northwest of the main one. We approach the entrance of the old watchtower. The chest is almost above the entrance.
Workshop gloves
Skelige. central part main island. We find ruins; there is a chest on one of the walls.

Silver sword
The place where we will go is located next to the camp of the Nilfgaardian army, and the closest fast travel point is the Kimbolt Road.

Steel sword

The chest is in the hold, just under the stairs. For a more comfortable dive, use the killer whale potion. It will give you more time to explore the hold.
Master armor.
Master armor Wolf School, hidden among the elven ruins. Head to the village of Rudnik to find them.
The recipe lies in a box half-submerged in a well, and ghosts are prowling around.
Master Pants search on Skellige. The chest is hidden quite cleverly - placed on the ridge of the destroyed wall of the Old Watchtower.
The tower is located on an island northwest of Kaer Trolde. A gang of some marauders settled in it.
Gloves recipe.
We go to Skellige for the recipe. In the very center of Ard Skellige, near the village of Ferlund, there are the remains of a nameless fortress.
A forktail or some other draconian hovers above her, who never deigned to land on the ground, so the removal of the next scroll took place without unnecessary noise and blood.
The chest lies carelessly on the remains of the fortress wall. You won’t be able to enter through the main entrance, since the staircase to the roof of the fort is blocked. You'll have to climb the walls.
Wolf armor belongs to the class medium armor, enhances the power of the Signs and the strength of the attack. For crafting, you will need ordinary materials, which are obtained by disassembling items or purchasing from a merchant. Masters: Journeyman Gunsmith and Journeyman Blacksmith.

There will be a ruined tower north of Kaer Morhen. Here a ghost (level 23) will be waiting for you, which you will have to kill. Near the wall on the ledge, look for a corpse, on which there will be the necessary drawing.

There is a fort due west of Kaer Morhen. There will be many ghosts inside it and they will have to be destroyed. Then go to the northern wall and find the bodies of the dead among the rubble. One of them will have a drawing on it.
Wolf School Armor (level 14)
Southwestern part of Kaer Morhen. There is a signal tower here. Climb to the very top and on the left side find a chest with Notes and a teleport crystal. Now go down and examine everything you found. Use the Aard sign to activate the portals. Go down and turn right before exiting the tower. Then climb the scaffolding and take the crystals from the wall and place them in the portal. Use Aard again and enter the portal. Coming out of it on the other side, you will find yourself in a cave, where among the greenish glow on the corpse there will be drawings guarded by a ghost (level 23).
Improved Wolf School equipment in The Witcher 3 can be found in the following places:
- Silver sword - there is a chest in the well - you need to look for it in the garden of the Bloody Baron;
- Another silver sword is found in a chest among the ruins of the watchtower in the north of Kaer Morher;
- Improved Pants main character will be able to get it by diving into the waters on the island, which is located northeast of Kaer Morher;
- Geralt can get the boots in the chest, which lies in the Monster’s lair (in the village of Zalipye);
