Origin unexpectedly rolled out a new gift game to the delight of the public. This time, Origin decided that this time it will not be another logical casual game from the PopCap Games studio, creators of the magnificent Plants vs. Zombies. It became a gift Dragon Age: Origins from the Canadian studio BioWare. This role-playing game, in other words, RPG. To the main character, as in most computer games, humanity has to be saved. He is the last member of a mysterious organization that has been defending this fantasy world from the attacks of evil for centuries. The game is quite interesting game process, in which there is not only the opportunity to boost the level of your hero to the maximum or cut down all the evil adversaries in the world, but also interaction with game characters, relationships with the protagonist’s companions. And also, a non-linear plot and a huge game world and the creation of your own, unique character to suit your taste.

Download Dragon Age: Origins using the Origin client. You can view the game on the Origin store website. Dragon Age: Origins is available for free until October 14, 2014. It is worth considering that only the standard edition of the game is available for free download.

Present in Dragon Age: Origins serve as an excellent tool for establishing, improving and strengthening relationships with companions. A good relationship- this is a guarantee to keep your companion in the squad and get a frank conversation from him. Conversations not only help you get to know your companions better, but also provide an opportunity if the main character’s class allows this and the companion has the necessary knowledge. Having achieved a trusting relationship, you can count on closer, more loving relationships. Gifts should be given taking into account the character and interests of the companion in the main camp, switching between companions directly from the inventory using the arrows and dragging the icons, which will save time on forming a squad and changing locations. Find gifts can be sold from merchants, as well as in the process of completing tasks. A positive reaction to a gift significantly increases. By giving all the gifts, you can achieve a significant improvement in relationships and trust. If the level of relationship has reached the maximum level, there is no need to give gifts. It would be wiser to save them in case of a sudden deterioration in relations, so that there is always the opportunity to quickly return everything to its place.

Gifts change approval from +1 to +10 according to the following rules:

  • Base bonus: +5.
  • If your companion likes the gift: +5.
  • For each previously given gift: -1.
  • If negative at the time of delivery: half the bonus value.
  • Minimum bonus: +1.

  1. Dragon Age: Origins. Satellites.

    Satellites:

To improve relationships with characters, you need to talk to them. The best place is in the camp, in the parking lot.
Inspired by the result good attitude companions receive bonuses to their characteristics. True, it’s better to save yourself before talking - if you choose the wrong tone, you can lose your hard-won favor.
    First to join the group
    Alistair
The prospect of Alistair joining the ranks of the templars inspired little both the Church - he had already annoyed everyone with his inappropriate sense of humor - and himself, who was already ready to climb the wall from the silence and good looks. Therefore, when Duncan used the Right of Summoning and took Alistair into the Gray Wardens, the latter’s gratitude knew no bounds.

Human, warrior, specialization - "Templar". There are few magicians in the game, so it’s better not to upgrade your templar skills. If developed correctly, it makes an excellent tank. Upgrade your strength to put on armor; dexterity; shield skills and warrior skills.
One of the key characters, a lot of dialogue.
Where to join: At the very beginning of the game, in Ostagar.
Personal quest: visiting his sister Goldanna in Denerim. To receive the quest, it is enough to talk to him from time to time, but he is most likely to give it after the events in Redcliffe.
While completing a personal quest, you can change Alistair's character, making him tougher and more decisive. To do this, after communicating with Goldanna, you must choose the answer option “Everyone for himself” and later, during the conversation in the camp, do not give up your words. If, after a conversation with your sister, you prefer to wipe his snot and console him, this will have the most detrimental effect on the fate of this character in the finale.
Romantic relationship: Only with a female character. Gives a rose when he starts to fall in love. Hint: it is recommended to tighten it up during a personal quest (after communicating with your sister, do not console, but stick to the line “such is life”, “what did you want”, etc.).
Present: rune stones and figurines of magical creatures.
    Special gifts:
"Alistair's Mother's Amulet" (Redcliffe Castle, Earl Eamon's office).
"Duncan's Shield" (available before the Assembly of the Lands; you need to free the Gray Guardian Riordian from Howe prison, then in Eamon's mansion talk to him about the Guardians' warehouse. The warehouse is located in the Trade Quarter, Riordan will give the key to the hiding place, which appears there after this conversation).
A crisis: May die or leave the party during the Landsmeet.
The second character to join the party will be
    Morrigan.
Like Alistair, she is a plot character who cannot be gotten rid of until the end of the game - she is somehow involved in the final events.

Morrigan is a human werewolf mage. Also a specialist herbalist (making potions is a useful skill). Of werewolfism, perhaps, only the last form - Swarm - may prove useful. It's best to give her cold spells. "Cone of Ice" affects all bosses including the Archdemon, making your life much easier.
By character she is an exceptional bitch, and even completely asocial due to the peculiarities of her upbringing. She reacts negatively to almost any good deed, but the abundance of gifts for Morrigan in the game easily solves this problem.
Where does it join?: After the Battle of Ostagar.
Personal quest: during the passage of the Tower of Magicians you will find the “Black Grimoire” in Irving’s office. This is a personal gift for Morrigan. After this, in the conversation she will give her personal task.
Romantic relationship: Only with a male character. If interest arises, she will call you to the tent. But keep in mind, as soon as the relationship reaches the “love” mark, she will refuse to share the bed with the hero. At the end of the game it will become clear why. Starting to fall in love with the hero, he gives him a ring.
In the end she leaves, no matter how you look at it.
Present: jewelry (for example, a chain of gold threads, you can buy from the gnome in the camp).
    Special gifts:
    - "Black Grimoire"
    - "Grimoire of Flemeth"
    - "Golden Mirror" (Orzammar, from the merchant Givin)
A crisis: will leave the party before the final battle if she refuses the offer she makes after the Landsmeet.

    Dog

Where does it join?: for a nobleman it is enough to pick up his dog from the kitchen, but the rest will need to do a simple quest in Ostagar, taken from the dogkeeper.
Present: various bones. The dog, as expected, has 100% love for its owner, with or without bones, so they can be given to the most grouchy of companions. Morrigan, for example.
The dog knows how to find things - you need to talk to him and ask if he sees something interesting. He might bring some rubbish for which no use can be found, or a gift. Oghren will gladly consume a bottle of wine, you can give the slobbery pie and tattered trousers to any companion of your choice, Wynn uses a skein of woolen thread to knit something warm to the Wall (if you give it after their dialogue about the Fereldan frosts). Also in certain places there is a chance that the dog will bring a unique item - for example, boots from Ancient Elven armor. This is the only chance to get this part of the set (the helmet can be exchanged with the hermit in the Breselon Forest, the rest can be found in the Ruins).
It should also be noted that the dog’s fighting qualities in a given area increase if he marks a “landmark” (a log, a tent, a tree - wherever he likes it).
At the beginning of the game, the dog is a real “cheat”, as he easily drowns out everything around with his howl.

    Lillian.

Robber man. A bard, he specializes in the bow and little things like opening locks and carrying purses, which requires a developed Cunning. Not bad for a novice of the Church, isn't it?

She's the hardest one. It’s enough to say something wrong somewhere at the very beginning or not talk about the right topic, and that’s it - she’s silent until the end of the game like a partisan, doesn’t make any friendships, doesn’t give personal quests and freezes out in every possible way.
Where does it join?: In Lothering, at the Dane's Refuge tavern, she will intervene in a skirmish with Loghain's soldiers and offer her help in the fight against the Blight.
Personal task: To start the quest you need to ask Leliana about the reasons for her coming to the church, about the minstrels and have at least +25 approval. Then she will talk about Marjoline, and later, when moving between locations with Liliana in the group, the squad will be attacked by robbers, whom Liliana recognizes as having come after her soul. Interrogate the robbers, deal with Marjoline one way or another, and get an excellent bow (which only Liliana can use). During the quest, Liliana can be slightly sobered up on the subject of the Church and all sorts of religious nonsense, explaining to her that being a bard is not bad at all, you need to be yourself and not be ashamed of it, and you don’t have to turn into Marjoline. Then she admits that she was still bored in church, that she wants to live life to the fullest, and get rid of religious fanaticism.
Romantic relationship: Liliana’s orientation is unconventional. Her previous love is a woman. If you get to know her well, you will find out that she does not have the best memories with men. But with due patience and desire, a gg-man can win her heart. Talk about what someone like her did in church (the right move is to compliment her appearance). If you have the patience to communicate about shoes, hairstyles, etc., then in the future she will conduct quite interesting dialogues, tell legends and even sing (many people really like Liliana’s song, which she performs after the quest with the Dalish elves).
Liliana initiates the conversation leading to an affair with a gg-woman herself. Says something about how glad it is to see you, etc. If you ask her whether she often enjoys female company so much, she states: “And if I say that it happens sometimes? What will you answer?” Those wishing to have a romance here should promise to giggle.
After completing a personal quest, you can resume your relationship, even if you already had an affair with Liliana that ended in a breakup.
If she has an affair with the hero, then she will stay with him until the end - “both in life and in death” (c) But if the hero (heroine) gets married, even for political reasons, she leaves.
Present: Symbols of Andraste, as well as jewelry. Blue shoes and Silver Sword Mercies (sold from a gnome, which is found randomly when moving between locations).
    Special gifts:
Grace of Andraste (flowers grow in Redcliffe at the mill, in the Bressilian Forest and in Elfinage)
Tame Naga (In Orzamar with Liliana in the party, take the quest to capture the nagas from the driver, then hire the Idle Dwarf in the Dusty City to find a wild naga - clean and well-fed). If there is no love or friendship with Liliana, she will not ask for a nag.
A crisis: Can turn against the main character if he desecrates the remains of the Ashes of Andraste's Sacred Urn with the blood of a dragon. If you “sober up” her during a personal quest, she will remain with the hero even after such sacrilege.

    Stan
Qunari warrior. Specializes in two-handed weapons, location bonus is strength. Don’t forget to pump up his dexterity; if you push everything hard, he will “smear.”

You shouldn't take him to clear the Wizards' Tower. In the final battle, mages are much more useful than templars. And they may come in handy in a number of quests later. Therefore, I would not advise destroying magicians, but Sten - as a Qunari who deeply and sincerely hates magicians - will go out of his way to ensure that they are all killed. And he will strongly disapprove of the desire to preserve the Circle of Magicians.

Players have quite contradictory opinions about him. Personally, it was easiest for me with him - you can say what you think, and not pretend what he would like to hear. Stan strongly approves, is constantly inspired, and after the quest for the Urn of Sacred Ashes expresses his admiration. But many did not find contact with him, and after the quest for the Urn, there were generally attempts to seize control of the party by Sten. I don’t know how people built a dialogue.
Where does it join?: Sten sits in a cage in Lothering. You can open the door with a master key, or you can go to church with Liliana, she will vouch for you and the priestess will give you the key to the cage.
Personal task: With good approval, you need to talk with him about his past (if he was collecting information for the Qunari, then why didn’t he return with a report? Option two is to start talking about the sword through a discussion of the reasons why he killed the peasants). The place where Stan lost his sword is at the entrance to the Lake Calenhad loka. Interrogate the marauder, go to the Frosty Mountains and get the name of the buyer of the sword (Dwin of Redcliffe). If you conduct an interrogation in the Frosty Mountains without Sten, you can extract money from the marauder for the sword. Then we take the sword from Dvin (if Sten is in the party, the dwarf will not dare to mention compensation for losses; if Sten is not there, you will have to give the impudent person a decent amount).
    Present: paintings.
Romantic relationships are impossible. But with due respect, Sten will eventually invite the Qunari to travel with him to the lands.

    Wynn
Human, Circle Magician. Specialization: Spiritual Healer. She is, first of all, a healer and a buffer (buffs in this game are often underestimated, but a couple of robbers under her acceleration and, of course, a set of poisons suitable for the occasion are death to all living things). Can heal a group and resurrect during battle.

Winn takes care of everyone, gives advice in connection with the novels of the group members, knits warm clothes for Stan from the wool brought by the dog, talks with Alistair about where children come from... In general, the image is solid and consistent, in which I do not understand only one detail : why is Winn so happy if main character seduces an elf in the Dalish camp? She approves of this by +7, which is a lot. It seems like you shouldn’t hate elves, in the Circle of Magicians everything is very liberal with this - what difference does it make whether you’re a human or an elf, if you’re still a magician...
Perhaps this is due to the elven face of Zevran, who so actively reduced all her soul-saving conversations to attempts to cry on her chest, which nevertheless awakened base instincts in her.
Where to join: During the quest to cleanse the Circle Tower, Wynn will offer her help, and after the quest you can take her with you to fight the Pestilence.
Personal task: To start the quest, talk to Wynn about her past and have approval greater than +25. There are generally a lot of dialogues with her, but the personal quest begins with a conversation about her past and the question of whether Wynn regrets anything. She will tell you about the lost student; you can ask about him in the Dalish camp. He will appear in the cleared location of the Bressilian Forest, in the place where the hermit’s stump stands. Talk, get an amulet, experience and gratitude from Wynn.
Present: books and scrolls. In Lothering, a merchant (who can be supported or, with developed Persuasion, reasoned with) has a bottle of special wine for sale for Wynn. All other alcoholic drinks in the game are for Ogren.
A crisis: if you decide to destroy all the magicians during the quest in the Tower of Magicians, she will naturally come to their defense. She also rebels when the remains of the Ashes of Andraste's Sacred Urn are desecrated by the blood of a dragon. Well, someone else somehow managed to quarrel with her, becoming a blood mage; I can’t say anything here - I played as a blood mage, used these spells with her and nothing.

  2. Zevran

Elf, killer. Expert in poisoning. Improve agility and a little strength. Killer skills, skills for fighting with weapons in both hands. Don’t forget to put it behind the enemy’s back, and poison is everything to us. When used correctly, it surpasses even magicians in DPS; works great in tandem with Morrigan - she freezes, he instantly splits due to frequent crits. Disapproves of atrocities against elves and breaking oaths (when you talk to Zathrian at the exit from the ruins, promise him protection only if he does not attack first; if you promise it without any conditions, and then start “persuading” him to lift the curse, Zevran will strongly disapprove).

Constantly harasses all female characters, including Winn. He even managed to get under the skin of Morrigan, but he immediately ruined everything by starting to shake out the money in dispute from Alistair. His advice to lovers in the event of an affair between any party members, as well as some discussions on the topic of morality, should not be heard by children.
Where to join: After completing the first story quest (an emissary of gnomes, elves, magicians or Redcliffe appears in the Camp), your actions attract the attention of those in power, and when moving between locations, a video appears - Loghain hires a representative of the Assassins Guild - Anti-Warriors. That's it, the next time you travel between locations, you can expect a surprise in the form of an ambush with traps, archers and Zevran. Having interrupted those greeting you, you can either immediately sentence the elf or take him into your service.
Personal task: At the end of the game, after receiving the quest to save Queen Anora, when moving between locations, the group will encounter a fairly strong group of Ravens. You will have to fight with them (necessarily with Zevran in the party). If the relationship with him is bad, then he will betray and support the Ravens. How some managed to achieve this is difficult to say, since without any romances, just chatting about his adventures and special gifts, Zevran raises the relationship to a warm one and does not demonstrate any inclinations towards betrayal. After the fight with the Crows, he says that now he could leave, but he clearly has no desire to do so. In the camp he will thank him for being freed from the Ravens. If there is an affair, his attitude will turn from “attachment” to “love”, then he will give an earring. If there is no romance, an opportunity to start one will appear in the dialogue.
By the way, according to eyewitnesses, if you refuse to take the earring “since it doesn’t mean anything,” then Zevran will get angry and change his mind about giving it. But later he will give it again, this time with a declaration of love.
Romantic relationship: Contrary to popular belief, Zevran prefers women - a romance with the male protagonist cannot be started without advances from the Mr. himself, while with the female gender he takes the initiative. But since, when he was a killer, Zevran approached his high-ranking male victims mainly through bed, an affair with a man does not bother him much.
After a personal quest, he rethinks his approach to life, no longer pesters women and generally changes a lot.
An interesting outcome if Zevran has an affair with the hero, and he dies. Then the elf goes to the Crows, kills everyone there, heads the organization and is sad for the rest of his life, never starting new romances.
If the heroine becomes a queen (or the hero becomes a king) (available for a noble person, regardless of gender), he still remains with the lords.
    Present: Bars of precious metals.
    Special gifts:
    - "Dalish deerskin gloves" (Bressilian forest, fake camp trap)
    - "Antivan leather boots" (Vault, in chest)
A crisis: Zevran may be lost if:
    - killed in the first meeting;
    - approval will drop to crisis levels. In this case, it will be possible to persuade him to stay, challenge him to a fight and kill him or let him go.
    - with low approval, will turn against the main character during the battle with the Crows.

    Oghren
Dwarf, warrior, berserker, Two-handed weapon. Rock - like the Wall. But his bonus is not to strength, but to physique.
Many people carry Ogren with them just to listen to his dialogues. They are simply the most awesome.
Fortunately, there are places where the characters start chatting mandatory- the bridge in front of the Arena in Orzammar, pine trees at the entrance to the Dalish camp, etc.

Where does it join?: In Orzamar, when you meet at the exit to the Deep Paths (when you go to look for the Perfect One).
Personal task: To start the quest, you need to talk about a woman named Felsi (you should look for her in the tavern on Lake Calenhad Pier). Chat with Felsi, then come there with Ogren. You can help him improve his relationship with her by giving him hints during the conversation.
    Present: All kinds of booze
A crisis: The result was a massive drop in approval. You can persuade him to stay or start a fight with him, at the end of which you can kill him, force him to stay, or drive him away.

    Sheila (additional content)

Where to join: After completing the downloadable quest Stone Prisoner.
Personal task: You need to talk to Sheila about Caridin after completing the quest in Orzamar. Then go with her to the Deep Paths. A new lock will open, clear it, then talk to Sheila.
    Present: gems
A crisis: The golem will leave the party if approval reaches crisis levels or if the character decides to keep the “Anvil of the Void” (regardless of whether the golem is in the party or remains in the camp at the time of choice for the quest).

    Loghain
    Man, Warrior, Knight.
I left him alive to listen to Zevran report to his employer about his “successes.” Then it loaded and crashed - because it doesn’t matter.

Where to join: Defeat him after the "Gathering of the Lands", but not kill him, but force him to become a Gray Warden. Alistair will not stand such outrage against the order - he will leave. If you don't toughen it up, he'll drink himself to death. If you make it tougher, he will marry Anora, but he will withdraw himself from the board and leave the party so as not to be near the traitor.
    Present: maps and historical documents.

  3. A dog named Dog?
  4. I had a dog named Dog
  5. By the way, I’ll note the imbalance among the companions: well, there are a lot of warriors, and at the same time there are only two magicians.
There is approximately the same imbalance in weapons with armor - in the game you can find a lot of sets of heavy armor (for example, the sets of the captain of the gray guards, the juggernaut, I also had collector blood armor). While there is only one full-fledged set of light armor (draconian) - and that’s crap. There will be DLC with Kaylan's armor coming soon. And I have a suspicion that this is also heavy armor))
  6. They probably thought that magicians were already too strong :) they also have all sorts of combinations of spells, while warriors have nothing like that, plus an incredible amount of all sorts of mass control.
and Kailan Oga's armor is massive)
  7. But I was disappointed by the appearance of the leather armor. When you play as a noble person at the very beginning they give you some leather armor, which according to appearance(see screenshots of the horn from the next topic) is better than all that same type of G that you have to carry around the whole game.

By the way, I’ll note the imbalance among the companions: well, there are a lot of warriors, and at the same time there are only two magicians.

This is so that they don’t kick Morrie out, with her character.

Mages don't need armor. But a good robe is found in the quest with Hasindian signs at the very beginning, Morrigan is dressed initially, and after the personal quest she receives an excellent mantle.
Cool staves are sold from merchants. For example, Winterlord in Denerim - what else could a magician need?
Plus, the developers clearly wanted Winn and Morrie to wear what they had drawn for them. I couldn’t find better rags than Morrie’s own ones, but I dressed Wynn in the robe of a Hasindian archmage and got a femme fatale in a miniskirt. Somehow her conversations about knitting sweaters looked ridiculous after that)))
A lot of gloves for a magician. The damage drops, and you also knock out your clothes. In general, when playing as a mage, there are no difficulties with equipment. On the contrary, he knocked it out and put it on, not like with the soldiers - every now and then it turns out that he got the set, but he doesn’t have enough strength to put it on.

  9. The leather armor is normal and according to the stats, it’s not, let alone beautiful. The only good body in Denerim is for sale (which gives + 6 to agility). And I also have leather gloves with a critical chance. I didn’t find any normal boots, just one UG. If there are two horns in a party, then there is nothing to wear them >.<

Well, this is the taste and color actually. Not all SW:KOTOR passed as a light Jedi))
For me, Morrigan burns. And fuck her whining - gifts solve any problems. I received her disapproval many times, but still, with the help of gifts and personal quests, I easily achieved 99 approval.
Regarding the armor, I rather meant more about the horns; it was really stressful with the gear for them. And for magicians, yes, everything is fine. Just one staff in the Tower with +2 mana regen is worth it.

ZY By the way, you can also make a warrior mage by upgrading to the Arcane Warrior specialization. Then you can even put on heavy armor (strength begins to be equated with magic among mages). This is a perversion, of course, although they say a support mage with heavy armor and a sword is not bad.

Two leather sets are made by a blacksmith in Denerim from dragon scales. For protection from fire and a bonus to agility - what more do you need? His third set can also be taken light, but I ordered heavy armor - it turned out to be the best armor against dragons in the game. It was possible to take a light one.
The main thing is not to squeeze money when you place an order, and ask them to do their best.
His first product is for an archer (Liliana), the second is for Zevran (melee), the third - depending on the circumstances.
They look so-so, I agree. Ancient elven armor is aesthetically very beautiful - collect and wear, but the blacksmith's products surpass it in characteristics.

In my opinion, she gives the most interesting lines precisely when the player’s actions go against her opinion on the situation. And in general it needs to be built more often and shown who’s boss)

Do you have a screenshot of the set?

  12. I didn't like the combat mage specialization; Wynn taught this, but still a useless thing. Two mages in a party with mass control and mass spells are our everything. Moreover, the blood mage casts a spell over a large area, but only hits strangers - it’s just a cheat. And what about armor - why is it needed? There are plenty of tanks, choose according to your taste. This is not AION, the monsters regularly attack the tank.

In the game Dragon Age: Origins, companions play a very important role in the progression process, of which you can meet as many as ten. If you make friends with them and build strong relationships, you can periodically receive amenities in the form of bonuses to your abilities, and also gain access to quests. And of course, this comes in handy when a crisis situation arises.

Leliana will meet you during the battle with Logelain

You can also move beyond friendship and start dating certain characters. To do this, you should complete the personal quest of the chosen one. You should also remember that your companion will leave if their level of approval of your actions decreases and is less than one hundred. Also, if you are tired of some Dragon Age companions, you can always say goodbye to him yourself. In crisis situations, any hero-companion can get angry with you and turn into an enemy - skirmishes are not excluded.

Companions in Dragon Age: general information

Throughout the game world there are some places where you should go in search of companions. It is there that you will start talking to them, and you can even open some kind of extra-plot quest, which your dialogue partner will tell you about. If you want to start a conversation, then you should go to Lothering, to Redcliffe (bridge), to the northern part of the Denerim Trade Quarter, the bridge in Orzamaria, you can also go to the Tower of Mages and to the Dalish camp. At the same time, the chance to start talking with a companion can only be used once. If you want to do it again, you will have to enter the location again.

Alistair will accompany you almost from the beginning of the game

The guard who accompanies you can also speak to those who come with them. At the same time, the location of the camp allows you to choose many topics. Your friend can initiate the conversation himself. This serves to unlock quests and work on relationship levels.

List of satellites:

  • Alistair is a soldier who will accompany you almost from the start of the game. If you act in a way he doesn't like, he may leave you during the Landsmeet.
  • Morrigan is a wizard. He is also a werewolf, whom you will meet when the plot leads you to Ishal.
  • Leliana - this girl will meet you during the battle with Logelain.
  • Zevran - a real bandit whom you will recognize on the Long Road / Morrigan (werewolf mage, entropy, Codex page 181) - joins after being rescued from the tower of Ishal.
  • Sten - you will redeem him from the service of the monk in Lotheringey
  • Winn is a doctor-magician who can become your companion while providing assistance to the Circle of Magicians.
  • Ogren is a berserker who will become your companion when you go after Perfect Branka in the Deep Roads.
  • Sheila is a warrior who will want to be with you when you activate the control metal in Honlite. It is an add-on to the main game "Stone Prisoner".
  • Loghain MacTeer will replace Alistair in the finale of the Landsmeet.

Each character has its own character:

  • Leliana, Winn, Alistair are good heroes, but they can take a neutral position. chaotic good, neutral good, ordered good.
  • Morrigan, Zevran, Sten are evil heroes, although they can also become neutral.
  • Sheila, Ogren, Loghain are neutral characters.

Dragon Age: Companion Gifts

You can present gifts to your comrades in order to increase the level of influence they have on the character. Almost always, what you give will be of interest to only one of your companions. So don’t worry that someone else will need it and that the one who won’t give it to your godfather will be offended. For example, Lelianna really likes the religious talismans of the church, but it’s better not to give this to Morrigan.

In order to give gifts to companions in Dragon Age to those who need them, you need to refer to a special Code. There is everything about how to increase Influence up to level 25. You can also learn from the dialogues. Some gifts provoke your companion to talk to you.

Zevran is very fond of precious bullion and leather goods

By the way, if you try to give a gift to someone who doesn’t like it, your companions will simply refuse. But this only applies to special gifts. After all, there are some that suit everyone.

Each gift increases your approval level by as much as ten points. However, with each subsequent one, this number of points awarded will decrease by one. However, there is one category of gifts that gives you the opportunity to earn more points than 10 - these are Special Gifts. They appear when the companion himself asks you. Only then will you know what they need. For example, Zevran may ask you for Dalish gloves; they will increase the level of influence by 12 points.

All simple gifts that can be given to each companion can only increase the level by five points. However, if you give with a negative intent, the impact decreases.

Influence is best increased when you communicate with your escort, and if you are also dating him, you can easily increase it to hundreds.

Dragon Age: details about each companion

Alistair is very loyal to you, he will not leave you even if you achieve a level of influence and approval of minus one hundred. We don't kick him out. And if you reach a high level of Approval, Alistair will help your Guardian to become a Templar.

Alistair has a special quest “Alistair’s Family”, for this you will need to go with Alistair to his sister.

It is possible to get rid of this companion only if you do not kill Loghain.

And for Alistair to fall in love with you (if you play as a female character), then all you have to do is flirt. Then there are two possible endings: marriage, breakup.

Morrigan

Morrigan will come to you when Flemeth insists on it. Morrigan will be able to turn you into a werewolf like her. She is selective about who she helps and also doesn't like it when you are too nice to others.

Her special quest is called "Grimoire Flement". And to do this, in Dragon Age, companions must go with you in search of the Black Grimmoire. Irving will have it.

To start an affair with Morrigan, you need to reach an influence level of 30 and be alone with her. After this, she can give you a magic ring, but there will be no happy ending with her.

She can leave before the battle at the end of the game or leave after you win.

The girl will meet you when you fight the Loghain warriors. She will help you find out what the Bard's specialty is. Her quest is her Past. To complete this task, you need to talk with Marjoline, and then with Leliana. In some cases, you can make her tougher if you insist in dialogue with her on the similarities between Leliana and Marjoline.

You can have an affair with Leliana either as a woman or as a man. If all goes well, you will receive a ring from her.

If in the process of completing the Urn of Sacred Ashes you somehow desecrate the ashes, then Leliana will try to leave you. Only hardened Dragon Age companions will not do this.

Zevran and his company of bandits will attack your group. You can either kill him or take him into your team after you deal with the others. He will turn you into murderers.

He does not have his own task, but a critical situation arises - you can cross paths with Talisen. If you are on bad terms with Zeran, he will leave for someone else. Next, you can even fight Talisen.

Any gender can have an affair with Zevran.

Mabari

Mabari is a dog that you can get in the prologue if you chose to play as a Noble. And if not, then you should complete the Houndmaster's quest.

Stan

Dragon Age companions can appear at any time. This is how you will get to know Stan - you will need to help him leave the reverend mother.

His task is related to the return of the sword. It is located with the gnome Dvin from Redcliffe. It can either be ransomed, taken by force, or found in housing.

Stan may leave you if you take him to the Vault from the Urn of Sacred Ashes.

Wynn

Wynn, like the rest of Dragon Age Origins companions will join during the course of the “Broken Circle”. And now you will also have to complete her special quest. It's called Wynn's Regret. And now the girl will tell you about the character Ainerin.

And only when you find him to talk, the quest will be considered completed.

Wynn may leave when you tell him about your intention to fight the magicians or you have desecrated the ashes.

Oghren

This companion has his own task for you: you will need to find his beloved Felzy.

There is also a secret ally in the game.

Loghain

Loghain will join you when you do not kill him in the Landsmeet. However, Alistair will then be offended - he will leave you instead.

Celebrated throughout Ferelden, Satinalia is always accompanied by wild feasts and uncontrollable fun. On this joyful day, it is customary to give gifts to friends and family, as well as to play them, while trying not to become a victim of a clever prank yourself. So that your faithful associates and companions do not remain offended or bored, you can give them gifts or make fun of them with the help of items from the Holiday Gift Set and the Holiday Surprise Set. Holiday gifts and surprises provide the player with the opportunity to explore the depth of the relationship system with companions in Origins, earning them hatred or adoration.
