About the possibility of the former first racket of the world participating in the Fed Cup final, the site studied the bitter experience of women music and film stars. Similar legal proceedings in their case often lasted years and cost millions of dollars.

Among the celebrities discussed below, Victoria Azarenka's lawyer represented Alec Baldwin, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline (drawing up their prenuptial agreement and starting their divorce - Ed.). In parallel with Azarenka’s case, she is involved in several other litigations, in which she is on the side of Scarlett Johansson and Angelina Jolie.

Kim Basinger, actress

Second parent: Alec Baldwin, actor.

Children: daughter Ireland Alice (pictured with Kim Basinger).

Main: The battle for their daughter between Basinger and Baldwin lasted four years. The process dragged on because the actors did not have a marriage contract that would regulate issues of custody of their common children. Kim and Alec spent about $3 million on legal services. Note that we're talking about about a dispute that arose in the early 2000s.

Since 2004, Basinger was granted custody of her daughter, and the court allowed Baldwin to see her. Alec then achieved equal parental rights with Kim. You can learn about how the trial proceeded from the actor’s book “Promises to Myself.”

Britney Spears, singer

Second parent: Kevin Federline, choreographer.

Children: sons Jayden and Sean.

Main: After a two-year trial in Los Angeles Superior District Court, Federline was awarded sole custody of the children. The decision in his favor was made due to Spears' breakdowns. She repeatedly found herself in the police station while intoxicated. Kevin also demanded from his ex-wife alimony in the amount of 20 thousand dollars a month. Spears and Federline subsequently developed a system of flexible child care arrangements.

Madonna, singer

Second parent: Guy Ritchie, director.

Children: son Rocco John (pictured in the arms of Guy Ritchie).

Main: The marriage between Madonna and Guy Ritchie lasted eight years. After the divorce, they established rules for custody of their son, which meant that Rocco would study in London and that he should visit his mother often.

The basis for the legal dispute arose when 15-year-old Rocco ran away from his mother, who lives in Manhattan, to his father, explaining that Madonna was not paying enough attention to him. The court ruled that Richie would take custody of his son.

Pamela Anderson, actress

Second parent: Tommy Lee, musician.

Children: sons Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger (pictured with Pamela Anderson).

Main: Shortly after her divorce from Tommy, Pamela made an attempt to limit his parental rights. Anderson drew the court's attention to the fact that her ex behaves inappropriately when he drinks. For example, he beats her in the presence of children. In response, Lee blamed Anderson for the fact that their eldest son cursed the school. For about four years the court could not take sides. The dispute ended with a settlement agreement.

Halle Berry, actress

Second parent: Gabrielle Aubry, fashion model.

Children: daughter Nala Ariela.

Main: Holly and Gabriel separated in 2010 and only in 2014 did they wait for a court ruling on who would take custody of their daughter and under what conditions. It was decided that Nala Ariela would live with her father, and the mother should pay monthly alimony in the amount of 16 thousand dollars until her daughter’s 19th birthday or her graduation from school.

M.I.A., singer

Second parent: Benjamin Bronfman, entrepreneur.

Children: son of Ikhid.

Main: New Yorker Bronfman was unhappy that his ex was going to take his son to England. He filed a lawsuit and intended to fight for custody rights over Ikhid. In response, Mathangi Arulpragasam, a British singer of Tamil origin, posted many angry tweets, which she later deleted. In 2016, Rolling Stone magazine reported that the parties had reached a compromise.

Nicole Kidman, actress

Second parent: Tom Cruise, actor.

Children: daughter Isabella Jane and son Connor Anthony (adopted - pictured with Nicole Kidman).

Main: when, after eleven years of marriage, Kidman and Cruise separated, the children, by court decision, began to live with their father and his new wife, actress Katie Holmes. Subsequently, Isabella Jane and Connor Anthony broke off their relationship with Kidman, which was restored only after they came of age.

Whitney Houston, singer

Second parent: Bobby Brown, musician.

Children: daughter Bobbi Kristina (pictured with grandmother Cissy Houston and mother Whitney).

Main: During her divorce from Brown, Whitney tried to gain full custody of her daughter and succeeded in court. Bobby appealed because he believed that the financial and psychological problems they did not allow him to defend his parental rights. Because Bobby missed the hearing, the court upheld the previous decision. Despite him, the former spouses maintained friendly relations. Whitney welcomed Bobby's desire to be involved in her daughter's life.

Scarlett Johansson, actress

Second parent: Romain Dauriac, journalist.

Children: daughter Rose Dorothy.

Main: after five months of negotiations, Johansson decided to sue. She agrees to joint custody, but wants the child to live with her. Dauriac insists on taking Rose to her native France. The trial, which began in March 2017, has not been completed.

Angelina Jolie, actress

Second parent: Brad Pitt, actor.

Children: Shiloh, Vivienne, Knox (all three are biological), Maddox, Pax Tien and Zahara (all three are adopted).

Main: One of the important parts of Jolie and Pitt's divorce proceedings, which began in 2016, was the establishment of child custody rights. According to media reports, the guardianship authorities investigated the facts of Brad's abuse of them, but the charges were dropped. The actor insists on joint custody. Until a peace agreement was reached, Angelina allowed ex-spouse visit children under the supervision of specialists and take them overnight.

The shocking news appeared in the Israeli press, and was then duplicated by Victoria Azarenka’s VKontakte fan group.

“The issue regarding guardianship raised by Azarenka will be resolved by the court in Belarus”

So, the Israeli media reports that Azarenka hired Israeli lawyer Zeev Wallner (the publication provides a photo of them together), a specialist in family matters, and is fighting with the child’s father for his custody.

In July 2017, after the couple broke up, McKeag went to court in Beverly Hills based on concerns that the child had been abducted by his mother, reports . - In the near future, judging by some documents, the court ordered not to take the child outside of Los Angeles. The father took the seven-month-old child for himself, depriving him of the chance to fall asleep next to his own mother. Due to the complexity of the procedure, in addition to a local lawyer, Azarenka decided to resort to the services of Israeli lawyer Zeev Valner, a great specialist in family matters in Israel. After a two-week marathon of preparation for the procedure, which was kept in the strictest confidence from the eyes of the world's media and fans, the decision regarding the child's stay remains in force, and the issue of guardianship raised by Azarenka will be resolved by a court in Belarus. The lawyer said he is also preparing a lawsuit for huge damages caused by Azarenka's former partner, who will miss the tournament starting next week in Cincinnati. If she fails to compete at the US Open, which starts at the end of the month, then the total claim will reach at least $10 million. The next hearing is scheduled for September, and Azarenka's lawyer is confident that the chances of winning the case are very high.

There are no comments from Victoria herself yet.

Let us recall that Victoria gave birth to a son on December 20, 2016 in Los Angeles and named him Leo Alexander.

Victoria started dating Billy after she went through a breakup with musician Redfoo.

She dated Billy, but never said anything about him publicly.

Even when it became known that she would become a mother, Azarenka tweeted a reserved comment: “My doctor said that my boyfriend and I will become parents at the end of the year. We are incredibly excited to start a family."

Not much was known about Billy as a person, and Victoria was in no hurry to tell.

But then we managed to find out that in high school he attended a Catholic school and then graduated from the University of Missouri. He's from St. Louis himself. He doesn’t promote himself on social networks, but he really likes to post photos of himself while playing golf.

“Billy is affectionate, he loves Leo very much.”

In April of this year, in an interview with the New York Times, Azarenka shared pleasant conclusions:

You can't know who will react and how to having to become a father at a young age. Fortunately, Billy is affectionate, he loves Leo very much. He understands what I want right now, and he is willing to sacrifice his time for the family so that I can play for the next five or six years and complete one of the stages of my life.

Then it became known that Billy McKeag was 27; he and Victoria met on Kauai (one of the main Hawaiian islands), where she came to visit friends: surfer Laird Hamilton and his wife Gabrielle Rees. Billy worked as the head coach of a golf club at a fashionable resort.

Vika is so strong that I’m left without a blanket at night,” Billy said. - She pulls it on herself when she sleeps.

He visited Minsk with Victoria several times, and at the beginning of this year they lived in Belarus for several months. Azarenka spoke in an interview with Eurosport about how Billy settled in Minsk:

At first, I probably experienced culture shock. Now he is already a resident of Belarus. He really likes it there. He plays hockey. With language, of course, it’s difficult. He really likes Belarus himself. He discovered something new for himself besides America. Because in America people usually think that apart from America, nothing else exists. Here Billy saw a different culture, different people, different views of life. It helped him grow. Let me give you an example. He had never eaten soup in his life. Now he eats and asks his mother to prepare soup for lunch. He eats all the soups.

It seemed that everything in her life was going well. Especially after so many tests. Azarenka admitted this spring that she had to go through a very difficult period - her mother was seriously ill. Fortunately, the disease was defeated, but here comes a new blow.

By the way, Azarenka explained the choice of her son’s name this way:

I don't know, for some reason this name came to mind. Then we started going through different names, and I thought that it was very difficult to come up with tongue twisters that rhymed with Leo. You know, children come up with such dirty tricks... So it’s very difficult to come up with something like that for Leo. And Alexander... I wanted there to be something Russian, to have our native roots (in fact, the name Alexander is Greek. - Ed.). Alexander is a very strong name and I have always liked it. Someone will think that she named the child after Leonardo DiCaprio, but no. I just liked the name Leo.

a site about a stalemate in which the former world number one found herself hostage to circumstances.

Missing the US Open family circumstances- this is already serious. Previously, there was a version of a viral infection when withdrawing from a tournament in Stanford, then this whole story became public knowledge, and Vika already withdrew from Cincinnati due to family reasons. The same fate, apparently, will befall the US Open, and this can already be considered an extremely negative circumstance for professional tennis player Victoria Azarenka.

In this situation, it is necessary to constantly stipulate that a citizen of Belarus and a tax resident of Monaco with a residence permit in the United States can be considered in two guises - as the mother of an 8-month-old child Leo Alexander (here you can be relatively calm about her rights and opportunities) and as a as a world-class professional tennis player who returned to the sport after the birth of her son. And in this aspect, the Belarusian prospects have become extremely complicated.

Although it was here that everything was going great for Vika. The tennis player spent the postpartum period quite competently, did not push herself, allowed dosed physical exercise, pretty quickly went out onto the training court. According to the plan, her return to the competitive turmoil was supposed to take place on July 31 at Stanford, but the Belarusian got into shape so quickly and resurrected her tennis skills in her muscle memory that her return took place already in the third decade of June. And even Wimbledon was subsequently captured.

Both in Mallorca and London, Azarenka’s game left good impression and the confidence that the question of returning to the previous level of tennis is a matter of several months. Given the crisis of personalities that engulfed the WTA tour after the maternal pauses of Azarenka and Williams, the Belarusian could drive everyone under the bench with one acquisition of “stuffing”. But what happened was ordinary people are not advertised, but in this case the family conflict became public knowledge. And precisely because it involved not just Leo’s mother, but a world-famous elite athlete, whose career was suddenly jeopardized.

All Victoria fans are certainly familiar with the plot. After the end of Wimbledon, the relationship between Azarenka and the father of her child, Billy McKeague, ended. True, the reasons for the breakup of the couple, who just a few months ago radiated absolute happiness, are shrouded in fog, but the consequences of this step are well known. The American returned to his homeland and filed a lawsuit in the California state court for temporary custody of his son, who is allegedly in danger of being kidnapped by Azarenka. The court accepted the plaintiff's arguments and, while the guardianship case was being considered, prohibited anyone from taking Leo Alexander outside of Los Angeles.

In turn, Victoria Azarenka went to court with a counterclaim to establish custody of the baby, and some of the demands put forward have already been satisfied - the athlete is allowed to be with her son and spend the night with him in the same bed. But with regard to the ban on traveling with a child, everything remains in force. The tennis player was even ready to fully bear the costs of Leo and his father’s stay in New York, including flights and accommodation (with this option, her performance at the US Open was quite possible), but the court did not agree with this approach.

In general, Azarenka has hired a very strong team for the upcoming litigation. The interests of the Belarusian in the American court are represented by the “Queen of Divorces,” the famous family law lawyer Laura Wasser, who has worked on similar cases with Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Kim Kardashian, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. Her price tag is 25 thousand dollars for just entering the business and 850 dollars for each hour of work. “If you have that kind of money to determine who will take your child to school in what order, I am at your service!”- says Laura Wasser's motto. Plus, Victoria hired Israeli lawyer Ziv Wallner, considered one of the best specialists in your country in the field of family law. Apparently, it is intended for a second counterclaim - for lost financial benefits due to missed tournaments and corresponding financial compensation.

According to the first information, Wallner valued it at $10 million, which so far looks like an obvious bluff and part of a strategic game against McKeag. The judicial prospects of such a claim tend to zero, since it is unclear what lost financial benefits can be brought against Leo’s father? The son's departure was blocked by a court decision, that is, American law. Hearing the case in court is not a basis for demanding compensation for not going to tournaments, and the boyfriend personally does not in any way prevent Vika from going to tournaments. Finally, the financial loss for Cincinnati and New York of $10 million does not stand up to analysis at all.

Billy McKeag himself also took the legal enforcement of his rights and claims very seriously. The clinch between him and Victoria was uncompromising - according to information from various sources, in order to invite strong lawyers into the guardianship case, the American took out a bank loan. And since a party to a legal dispute takes out a loan from a bank for the sake of inviting lawyers, it can be assumed that this party is counting on such a financial return with which it will return the interest on the loan and will remain in the black.

From a legal standpoint, McKeag is certainly confident in the outcome. The disposition is completely clear - on the one hand, US citizen Leo Alexander and his father, US citizen Billy McKeague, on the other, the child’s mother, who is a citizen of Belarus. Whose interests the court will protect in this case is a rhetorical question. There is case law in US legal proceedings, and there are no known cases in memory where an American citizen, with the opposition of his father, also a US citizen, would be allowed to be taken out of the United States, even if his mother, but not a US citizen.

That is why the court refused to transfer this case to Belarus. Our court would have acted in exactly the same way if we had been involved in a trial with the same problems and similar claims on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. When determining guardianship, a Belarusian court would not be concerned with the interests of a US citizen; it would first of all protect the rights of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus Leo Alexander and a citizen of the Republic of Belarus Victoria Azarenka. And the petition of representatives of Billy McKeague to transfer the case from Belarus to the jurisdiction of the United States would only cause homeric laughter from those present in the courtroom.

The situation is aggravated by the fact that between Belarus and the United States there is no Agreement on legal assistance in the field of resolving issues of guardianship of a minor child. Boris Lev, managing partner of the law firm Lev, Sherstnev and Partners, told the Sputnik agency about this.

"In this situation, the whereabouts of the child at the time of the legal dispute is important. After all, not every court decision can be executed on the territory of another state. If the child is in the territory foreign country"where there is a dispute, that country will do everything possible to leave the child with the parent who is a citizen of that country."

Of course, if Victoria Azarenka and Billy McKeague had formalized their relationship last year and become husband and wife, it would now be easier for the Belarusian to defend her own interests in court. Surely then Vika would operate with the clauses of the marriage contract, which she, the owner of a dollar fortune with an eight-figure sum, would absolutely conclude. And now, for American legal proceedings, she is simply the biological mother of a US citizen.

I repeat, you don’t have to worry about Vicki’s maternal side - she will definitely defend all rights to raise a child, be with him and have custody of him in a California court. But an American court is unlikely to delve into her tennis needs as part of a custody case, especially if his father speaks out against the mother’s traveling with her 8-month-old child. Therefore, one way or another, a peace agreement will have to be negotiated with Billy McKeag. And preferably not within the framework of the main trial, but before it.

It’s hard to say whether Billy calculated this combination in advance, but now Vicki’s parting with a large dollar amount, either as compensation or alimony, looks like the most likely outcome of this case, which will suit everyone - fans, relatives, and former partners.

Orel Kugel , it turns out that in matters of faith I am more Jewish than you. Or you're too cunning. that even I didn’t figure you out).... But this is unlikely)))

The third temple is not an idea fixed by fanatics. You, the majority of Jews, are just cannon fodder for these, as you say, fanatics. Because they are the ones who lead your religious life, without which your state will fall apart, like a bee colony without a queen.

The third temple is the basis of the foundations of your religion, because otherwise Moshshiach will not appear. For the Orthodox, he passes through like the Antichrist..

Moshiach is the Messiah. We are not interested in what goes where in Novinki.

That’s why there are such friends in Australia who sympathize with Lukashenko. They don't know others.

Who told you about “those who sympathize with Lukashenko,” dumbass? They tell you that people simply don’t shit on their homeland, criticizing everything indiscriminately, calling it a concentration camp, they don’t spread crap that “the entire population is screwed,” because they themselves weren’t screwed, because people with brains are great professionals. Because here is their homeland, their ancestors, their youth, here they received an education, which, among other things, allowed them to move to a richer country and get education there too. Good work. And the smart-ass people, for whom the main happiness in life is to leave and forget, for whom their country is only an “Alkashenko-sovok-concentration camp,” generally shit on everything connected with their homeland, like you. And I know people who left Israel for Canada, but they love to come to their relatives in Belarus. And they don’t spit here at any customs officers who “mess around”; for some reason I’ve never been harassed.

But when you demolish it, it’s good if you have time to carry your feet.... So I ask - WHERE?

This is not the topic of the thread, but okay, I'll answer. For Muslims, the Al-Aqsa Mosque is either the third or fourth most important shrine. It was built right on the site where the Jewish Temple stood 2000 years ago. All the fuss is because of this. And the Wailing Wall is just a preserved piece of the wall from the fence of the Jewish Temple. Unlike Muslims, 90% of all Jews wanted to sneeze at the Western Wall; no one would declare a holy war for it. It is located as a tourist site, anyone can put a note, stand, and pray. Well, for Muslims too, it’s essentially on the side. With the construction of a new (third Temple) things are generally difficult; if the majority of Jews do not care about the Western Wall, then no one will support the destruction of El-Aqsa either. The idea itself belongs to a bunch of religious fanatics who are under the control of the intelligence services. The most important of them, Rav Kahane, has long been sent to another world. Only an idiot can destroy an Islamic shrine, and if this happens, it will not be in our lifetime.
And one last thing. You have to be an idiot to return to Sovok after living in a free state.
