Removable

Advantages of the phone:

The most convenient and beautiful interface of HTC Sence.
Very productive filling, without special problems pulls online videos, heavy pdf files, high-quality videos.
The shape is extremely convenient for this size and fits snugly in the hand.
Large screen with high resolution and cinematic proportions - great for work and entertainment.
A very decent camera.
Good sound in headphones.
Fast and reliable GPS signal reception.
Good WiFi signal reception.

Disadvantages of the phone:

1. The HTC Sense shell is very heavy. After working in resource-intensive applications, it can be unloaded from memory, so you have to wait for it to start again. Switching between application windows is leisurely.
2. Under load greater than just showing a blank screen, the bottom part heats up noticeably. Sometimes it even gets hot. However, it works fine.
3. The camera's pictures are very compressed, which reduces the quality for the sake of their size.
4. The inside of the device actively collects dust. So you need to remove the back cover and clean the machine once a month.

Comment about the phone:

Before that I had HTC Desire HD. It broke and the store exchanged it for a Sensation. In general, Sensation is an improved version of the previous flagship in every way.
This model looks like a machine balanced in all respects. There are no record-breaking characteristics here, but it is extremely convenient to use, it will never let you down, and can handle almost any task (suitable for running on a smartphone).
And the simple Sensation is more profitable than the advanced version Sensation XE. The difference in price can be used to buy an even larger battery (1950 mAh), better headphones and to suit your taste. And her money will remain.
And don’t forget about Android 4, which will appear on Sensation at the end of March, beginning of April.
Addition:
You can buy batteries with a larger capacity for the Sensation. A 1950 mAh battery fits into the case, although the balance of the device is disrupted - it is a little more difficult to work with one hand. On the other hand, it is already guaranteed to be enough for a day.
There is also a 3600 mAh battery from Mugen-Power, due to large sizes A new back cover is included. The quality of the cover is very mediocre, but it is very difficult to discharge the battery itself in a day, even of extremely intensive use.
Update after three years of use:
He works! You can install custom firmware with Android 4.4 on the machine, which works very quickly and stably. With it, the device is transformed. Of course, it looks modest compared to modern top-end devices, but the performance is sufficient for most tasks, and the size and shape of the case allow them to be used comfortably with one hand. The design is still beautiful and original. And the battery is easy to replace when worn out.

The HTC Z710e Sensation smartphone comes in a medium-sized black box made of thick cardboard. Its dimensions are not much larger than the dimensions of the communicator itself, inner space busy with accessories. Specifications are indicated on the box mobile computer. In general, the packaging can be considered stylish and convenient - it will not take up much space on the shelf or in the owner’s closet. (See Fig. 2.)

Inside the box, in addition to the communicator, there were: a battery, a wired stereo headset, a microUSB cable, a wall charger with a USB-compatible connector and documentation. The set of additional accessories is not the most extensive, there is only the most necessary. Software to synchronize with your computer and detailed guide are in the phone's memory. (See Fig. 3.) Many points in the parameters of the review hero attract attention. This is a dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz, and a whole gigabyte internal memory for installing programs (however, starting with Android 2.2, the amount of internal flash memory is not so important; applications can be installed on an external memory card), and a new display with a resolution almost identical to that of Retina from the iPhone 4. The development trend of communicators is clearly visible, Until Apple again shocks the market with some innovative invention, other developers will continue to extensively build up the internal “muscles” of the hardware platform. On the one hand, this approach is simple for manufacturers and interesting to watch, on the other hand, everyone has seen what stagnation and lack of ideas lead to, and users are in no hurry to change their devices for the sake of several innovations invisible to the naked eye. Be that as it may, HTC Sensation is, if not the main representative of the pinnacle of evolution of the communicator industry at the moment, then certainly one of them.

Display type: LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) - Liquid crystal displays. The very first displays used in mobile devices, and not only in phones. Their main feature is that they have very low power consumption, due to the inability to display color images. They do not emit light and therefore phones are upgraded with backlight lamps. On some phones there were several different colors backlight based on the presence of different LEDs around the perimeter of the display. This extraordinary solution was used, for example, in the Ericsson A3618 phone. On this type of display, pixels are clearly visible, and such displays cannot boast of high resolution. In order to extend the life of such displays, they were made inverse, i.e. text and symbols were not displayed as filled pixels, but, on the contrary, inactive against the background of filled ones. This resulted in light text on a dark background. Currently, this type of display is used in the cheapest budget models (Nokia 1112) and as an external display in some clamshells (Samsung D830).

TFT (Thin Film Transistor) - Liquid crystal displays based on thin film transistors with an active matrix. For each pixel there are three transistors corresponding to three colors (RGB - red, green, blue). At the moment, these are the most common displays and have a number of advantages over other displays. They are characterized by minimal response time and rapid development - ever-increasing resolution and number of colors. These displays are most common in mid-range and higher phones. Working resolutions for them: 128x160, 132x176, 176x208, 176x220, 240x320 and others, less common. Examples: Nokia N73 (240x320, 262K colors), Sony Ericsson K750i (176x220, 262K colors), Samsung D900 (240x320, 262K colors). TFTs are very rarely used as external displays for clamshells.

CSTN (Color Super Twisted Nematic) - Color liquid crystal displays with a passive matrix. Each pixel of such a display consists of three combined pixels, which correspond to three colors (RGB). Some time ago, almost all phones with color displays were based on this type. And now the destiny of such displays is budget models. The main disadvantage of such displays is their slowness. The undoubted advantage of such displays is their cost, which is significantly lower than TFT. Based on simple logic, we can assume that in the future TFT will displace this type of display from the mobile device market. The color evolution of such displays is quite extensive: from 16 to 65536 colors. Examples: Motorola V177 (128x160, 65K colors), Sony Ericsson J100i (96x64, 65K colors), Nokia 2310 (96x68, 65K colors).

UFB (Ultra Fine and Bright) - Liquid crystal displays with increased brightness and contrast on a passive matrix. We can say that this is an intermediate option between CSTN and TFT. This type of display boasts lower power consumption compared to TFT. For the most part, Samsung used such displays in mid-range phones. This type of display is not widely used. Examples: Samsung C100/110 (128x128, 65k colors).

TN is one of the matrix types of TFT screens. Roughly speaking, TN are the simplest and cheapest TFT matrices. Viewing angles are the narrowest.

HTC Sensation is equipped with a 4.3-inch display (Super LCD, 960 x 540 pixels), a Qualcomm chip with a frequency of 1.2 GHz, 768 MB RAM, an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and 1080p video capabilities, as well as a front camera on 0.3 MP for video calls.
