The ruins of the fortress have very serious security - an ice golem and several stone gargoyles, all of level thirty. So be careful and prepare carefully for the battle. The reward will be a diagram that is located on the right side of the tower.

Where to find the blueprint for the Bear School crossbow

Travel to the northwestern island, to a village called Svorlag. You need to get to the Sirens' Cave, where, as you can guess, a lot of these monsters live.

Stay in the cave right side, go to the very end, where you will find the remains of a knight. From them you need to pick up a drawing of a heavy crossbow, which will be very useful to you in exterminating monsters such as sirens.

Where to find blueprints for all parts of the Bear School armor

If scrolls with weapon drawings are scattered throughout the archipelago, then the diagrams of all parts of the armor are in one location, which greatly simplifies their search.

You need to sail to the northeastern island of Skellige, which is called An Skellige, and get to the ruins of Tirschach Castle.

In the ruins, keep to the right, then you will quickly find the entrance to the castle. When you go inside, immediately turn left. To begin with, you will have to go down to the very bottom, and then go up. When a grate appears in front of you, unlock it using the special lever.

The chest with the drawings is in the throne room, located behind the first door on the left side. Also in the chest is a clue to the location of the steel sword. But if you have already found it, you won't need it.

So that you don't get bored just wandering through the ruins, caring developers have placed ghosts at strategic points. But they do not pose any particular danger, but are more annoying.

All basic drawings have been found! Subsequently, the set can be improved so that it can last until the end of the game. To do this, you just need to do the same thing as before, that is, find suitable drawings.

There are four improvements in total, the last one requires not only circuits, but also a special master. Also be prepared to search for rare tools and components needed to create this kit.

In the game The Witcher 3 there are three types of armor with different characteristics and appearance. The most durable and heaviest armor is the armor of the bear school, which is quite difficult to find. In this article we will tell you where to find the Witcher 3 bear school armor. Before you start your search, you must have at least a hero level of 10, or better yet 20. After all, you will have to face opponents of level 20, who are not so easy to kill. You should also stock up on money, about 1000 coins will be enough.

To find the armor you need to take on a quest called “Destination: Skellige”, which will take you to the island of Skellige. It is worth noting that you will not be able to find all the armor at once; you will have to collect the diagrams separately, so get ready for long and difficult journeys across the map.

You cannot immediately receive the quest to find armor; for this you must go to the southern part of the main island and find an empty village there. While exploring the ruins, you will encounter level 20 sirens. Use your crossbow to shoot at the sirens and when they sit on the ground, attack them with your sword. After destroying the sirens, you will receive respect from the villagers who have returned to the village, and will also have access to the local herbalist. You can find a diagram of a steel sword in the littered basement of the inn. You will also receive a hint about the location of the silver sword diagram.

You can find the diagram in the north of the island in Fort Etnir. Before entering the fort, drink a potion to increase your skills, because you will have to fight an ice elemental and a couple of gargoyles. After destroying the enemies, go to the right side of the fort, there you can find a door, behind which there will be a diagram and a hint for finding a crossbow.

To find the diagram, go to the cave in the northwestern part of the island. Entering the cave, you will be attacked by several sirens and a cyclops. Next you need to go deeper into the cave, reaching the cliff, you will see a skeleton with a crossbow diagram.

Search for pants, boots, bracers and armor

Head northeast to the ruined fortress of Tirshach. When you reach the blocked passage, turn left, there will be a bypass. Go down the stairs, opening the doors using the lever.

As you descend, you will be attacked by ghosts until you reach a room with a couple of opponents. There will be two passages from this room, going to the right, you will find the remaining parts of the bear school armor.

Now you know where to find the armor of the bear school in The Witcher 3. As you reach new levels and quests appear, you will find more improved armor of the bear school, thanks to which you will become less vulnerable and more agile.

All armor sets are upgraded three times, and finding them does not require doing anything more difficult than collecting the main set.

Improved Bear School set. This set increases all parameters by 5-10% and increases the overall armor. For crafting, you will need a blacksmith and an apprentice gunsmith who have their own workshops in Novigrad.

Improved Bear School armor (level 25)

We go to the main island of the Skellige archipelago. In the southeast of it there is a fast travel point “Grotto”. It is into this cave that we need to go. Level 26 enemies are waiting for us inside. After their repose, we examine the loot and find the desired chest.

Improved Bear School Boots (level 25)

We remain on the island, but head southeast from the “settlement of Fornhala”. A little east of the Place of Power, in the forest, there is an unnamed cave with three trolls living in it. In the main hall of the cave behind the trolls, strictly opposite the entrance, there will be the necessary chest.

Now the path lies to the northeast of the island to the point “Marlin Embankment”. From it, strictly northeast, we sail to a small island and on its southern shore (closest to the large island) we find a cave. Inside there will be the necessary chest and drawing.

We return to the main island of Skellige. We will need the Rogni Village travel point. From there, across the lake to the northeast, there is a ruined tower. We climb up and find a chest and a drawing.

Not far from the previous location is the Kaer Gehlen travel point. Go down and get ready to fight the Alghouls. At the bottom of the cave there will be a treasured chest.

To the west of the main island we find a small island and a fast travel point, “Kaer Almhuld”. There is a pirate fortress nearby. We clear it (we destroy all living things) and go up along the right side of the entrance (north side of the fortress). This is where the chest will be.

We leave for Velen and go to the Gallows Tree travel point. In the northwest there will be a small cave with Nakkers. Inside the cave itself there is a chest, and in it are drawings of armor, gloves, pants and boots.

It is quite possible that you already have these drawings from the very beginning of the game. Check Geralt's database of crafting recipes.

Note that this adventure will require the ability to dispel illusions, and therefore Keira Metz's quests must be completed. We go to the travel point “Shelter on the crooked swamps” and our goal is southern point on the map below.

Here, near the boulder, we dispel the illusion and enter the cave, keep to the left and find a corpse and a chest nearby. The Fogman lives in the cave, so you will have to kill him. The Aard sign will help so that it takes on a material form and is vulnerable to swords and other weapons.

From the fast travel point “Shelter on the Crooked Marshes” we go northeast, to the ruins of the tower. A Golem awaits us here, and therefore we will have to kill it. Behind it will be the desired chest.

Master set of armor and weapons from the Bear School. This set of improvements also consists of a separate set of armor that will be located at a separate point, and an upgrade of both swords. To craft them, you will already need a blacksmith and a master gunsmith. It’s easy to find them, because they live in the “Castle of Voronitsa”, but initially you will need to do a quest for them to find tools. As for the characteristics, the overall armor indicator will increase to 190, and other parameters to 20-45%.

Our goal is a small island near the peninsula in the northwest of the “Road to Bald Mountain” travel point. Or in the southeast of the Kolomnitsa point. There will be a small ashes and the necessary chest with a drawing.

We remain in Velen and move to the travel point “Village of Big Boughs”. In the northwest of it we find a cave and in its depths behind all the rock formations there is a chest.

We go again to the point “Road to Bald Mountain” and move into the mountains to the destroyed bastion. He also has his own travel point, which is called the “Ruined Bastion”. If you go from afar, then get ready to meet basilisks and wyverns, as well as other monsters, on the way.

A cyclops will be sleeping at the entrance, but we carefully go inside, do not disturb, and behind the northern wall we find the necessary chest and a set of drawings for gloves, pants, boots and armor. The Cyclops will continue to sleep in the west.

In this guide I will tell you how to find the Bear School armor and all the improvements for it. The Bear School armor is heavy armor. They give greatest number armor, resistance to various blows, and also increase the rate of adrenaline regeneration.
