Dmitry Smirnov is in touch with you as always, and in this article I want to tell you about how to install Windows via a flash drive easily and simply, and how I actually did it! You can install Windows via a flash drive easily and simply!

InstallationWindowsby usingUSBdrive

The era of discs and DVD drives is gradually becoming a thing of the past. USB drives (flash drives) are much faster and can hold a considerable amount of information. It is not surprising that almost all advanced users have moved away from inconvenient disks and began to actively use flash drives for various needs. Nowadays, even an operating system can be installed on a computer using a USB drive. How to install Windows via a USB flash drive will be discussed in this article.

PreparationUSBdrive

To install the system, you first need to select the right flash drive. Here, a lot depends on both the type of USB drive and its size. Depending on the size of the Windows distribution, you need to choose a flash drive from 4 to 8 GB. In principle, 8 GB is enough for anyone Windows versions. Now about the type of flash drive. If your computer supports USB 3.0, then it is highly advisable to use a flash drive of this standard. USB 3.0 speed is several times faster than regular USB 2.0. This means that the system will install much faster. It is very easy to recognize USB sockets of the third type - they all have blue markings. So, the flash drive used to install the system must have the following parameters: size – 8 GB, type – USB 3.0.

Selecting a distribution Windows

There are no special recommendations here. Everyone chooses the version of the OS that they like best. It is better, of course, to use original images, downloaded from the Microsoft website. But, if it’s easier to download from a torrent, go ahead. The only thing is to avoid “homemade” assemblies from incomprehensible “specialists”. They very often lack very significant components of the system. As a result, Windows may become unstable. Look only for original images. After all the necessary images have been downloaded, you can begin recording the system image to a USB drive.

Writing an image to a flash drive

To write an OS image to a flash drive, special programs are used that are quite good at doing this. The most popular of them:

— Rufus

- Ultra ISO

—UNetbootin

- Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool

-WinToFlash

- Universal USB Installer

They are all good in their own way. But some of them can confuse an unprepared user. For example, if a novice user uses UNetbootin, he will not understand how to install windows via flash drive, because the program is replete with settings that are completely incomprehensible to an untrained person. And the menu is on English language It doesn’t help at all, but on the contrary, it confuses even more. Ultra ISO is not bad, but that’s not what it was originally intended for (and it’s a paid one). That is why bootable flash drives recorded with its help sometimes behave inappropriately. The most good program to write a system image to a USB drive – Rufus. It does an excellent job of recording images of almost all systems (Windows, Linux, Mac). The settings are minimal. The program does everything automatically. It is completely free and does not annoy the user with annoying advertising. There would be more such software.

So, to write an OS image to a flash drive using Rufus, you first need to open the program. Then, click on the button with the disk image to select the OS image. That's basically it. The program will automatically detect the connected flash drive. All that remains is to click on the “Start” button. After some time, the program will notify you that the operation was completed successfully. After this, you can begin installing the system.

System installation

Installation itself operating system may take place in different scenarios. This depends on the version of Windows, the type of BIOS of the computer and the hardware of the PC. In any case, to start installing the OS from a flash drive, you must first select in the BIOS the boot device from which the system will boot first. It's different on different PCs. For example, in Lenovo laptops, just press the F12 key to get to the Boot Menu and select the desired boot device. If the Boot Menu is not provided in the BIOS, you will have to go to the BIOS itself and on the Advanced Settings tab find the Boot Order item and set our flash drive as the First Boot Device. It should be called USB-HDD. After this you need to restart your computer. If everything is done correctly, it will boot from the flash drive.

The system installer now loads. Let's look at the installation process using Windows 8.1 as an example. In the first dialog box, click the “Install” button. Next, the installer will ask you to agree to all clauses of the license agreement. We agree. Next, we need to select the OS edition (if the All In One image was downloaded). We choose Pro, below does not make sense. After some time of deliberation, the installer will ask you to select the type of installation (fully automatic or manual). We choose manual disk partitioning, because in automatic mode the installer can do such things that some files will definitely not be included. Next we will be presented with a disk selection menu. Select the system partition and delete it. If there is a partition reserved for system needs, we also delete it. On this unmarked place we create new section. This is where we actually install the new system.

Next comes the installation of the system itself. The computer will reboot several times and then prompt you to enter user data and make the first system settings. Here everything is done at your own discretion. After applying the settings, the system will boot. That's all. The OS was installed using a flash drive.

Personally, I installed Windows myself via a USB flash drive using the Ultra ISO program. In short, we take a flash drive of at least 8 gigabytes, I took one of 32 gigabytes. We take Windows from you know where =). You have downloaded everything, you have a Windows ISO image and a flash drive, then you downloaded the Ultra ISO program.

In the program we simply select the Windows image, it will be unpacked in the program! Next, click “boot” and “burn image” hard drive" Next, select a flash drive, an image, and press record! In 5 - 10 minutes you will have a ready-made flash drive with Windows! Reboot your computer and the installation will begin! If it doesn’t work, then set the BIOS to boot from a flash drive! READY!

Conclusion

Now no one should have any questions about how to install Windows via a USB flash drive. Everything is ridiculously simple. The system will, by and large, install itself. The user only needs to properly prepare the USB drive and boot through it. And then it’s a matter of technology. Although, this depends on the version of Windows. For example, not everything is so rosy with XP. But it is rarely installed anymore because it is morally outdated. So, this instruction is most consistent with the realities of our time.

Now you know how to install Windows from a flash drive via BIOS! You may also be interested in information about.

It is best to learn how to install the OS yourself, and there are a number of reasons for this: savings, the ability to do it at any time and not depend on anyone, anonymity and security (no one but you will touch your computer), etc. In this article you will learn how to install Windows 7 from a flash drive on a computer or laptop.

Burning windows to a flash drive

In order to burn an ISO image of Windows 7 onto a flash drive, I use and recommend the rufus program to everyone. It is the simplest, free, quickly and correctly records any system. I have already written about all the advantages of the utility. It is so simple that you don’t have to follow the link and study it, but download it right away - https://yadi.sk/d/DUW30yh93RLmZq

Preparing for installation

The correct installation is considered if you format drive “C”. This is extremely necessary for the correct operation of the new system, and also, with the help of formatting, all viruses and useless and unnecessary files are removed. As you already understood, before starting the installation, you need to move all the information you need to another drive so that you can erase everything from the “C” drive. If you have only one partition and there is nowhere to move it, or save important information to a flash drive.

Installing Windows 7 OS

All manuals on the Internet have a BIOS setup step, but we will do without it. Why touch him? once again, if possible, get by.

  1. After you have written Windows 7 to a USB flash drive and saved all the important information, insert the USB drive and restart your laptop/computer. When starting the PC, you need to call the BOOT menu to select a flash drive to boot, and not HDD.

How to callBOOT menu:

Got it? Now, when you turn on the PC, call up the boot menu and select the flash drive with the system.

  1. If all of the above was done correctly, and after choosing to load the flash drive, you will see this window:

This means that everything is fine, and you need to press any button once.

  1. Select your native language and click “next”.

  1. A simple point where you need to click “install” and proceed to the next installation step.

It's best to set it to maximum.

  1. Check the box that you agree.

  1. Full installation or update. We need to click “full”.

  1. We select the HDD partition we need, i.e. drive “C” and click disk setup.

  1. Click “format”. (all information on it will be destroyed). We talked about this above.

  1. Confirm formatting and click next.

  1. The installation has started. Now it takes time (3-15 minutes) until the operating system is copied from the flash drive to your computer and installed.

12. Enter your name (nickname) and computer name and move on.

13. Set a password (if necessary), this is optional.

14. You must enter license key product. Click next and we'll talk about it below.

16. Set the date and time. To prevent the clock from getting lost after each reboot, set your time zone.

17. Set up your Internet connection. If your computer is at home, select 1 item.

  1. All! Congratulations, you did it. Windows 7 has been successfully installed.

Installation completed. What's next?

Installing the operating system took you about 20 minutes, it would seem that’s all, but I have to disappoint you because... now you need to install everything else:

  • Drivers. If you still have disks that came with your computer/laptop, use them. If not, I recommend downloading the “DriverPack Solution” program and it will select all the necessary drivers and install them.
  • Download and install all the programs you need, including: browsers, flash player, directx, microsoft visual c++ and microsoft net framework.
  • Customize your computer for yourself. Create the necessary shortcuts on the desktop, change their scale (size) by holding ctrl and scrolling the mouse wheel, configure the video card (if necessary), and everything else.

Also, more than likely, you installed an unlicensed Windows, and of course you do not have an activation key. It's not scary, and you can activate it in 2 minutes. I wrote how to do this.

How to install OS from USB: Video

Results of the work done

Most of what was written above was not necessary, but for correct installation it is recommended to do this. As a result, you received a fully working computer that works like new without spending your savings on it. Now you can reinstall the OS yourself and configure it in less than an hour (this time is equal to the time you would have spent transporting it to a service center).

Sometimes there is a need to update or reinstall your operating system. And there are several ways: you can turn to specialists and, by paying money, get a new OS, or you can do it at home. However, not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance.

Preparing to reinstall Windows

Before installing Windows from a flash drive, you should complete a number of preparatory measures:

  • search the Internet and download a suitable OS image;
  • cleaning the computer and saving the necessary files;
  • writing the finished image to a bootable flash card;
  • setting settings in BIOS.

Each of the above points is important and must be implemented in exactly the same sequence as indicated.

Finding the right operating system

You can find absolutely anything on the Internet Windows image, regardless of bit depth and visual design. But here, too, there are several important nuances that you need to know before installing Windows from a flash drive to your computer.

Firstly, the build quality. It is preferable to use official assemblies, without unnecessary mods, utilities and programs. The “cleaner” the version, the greater the likelihood that it will install without problems and subsequent crashes.

Secondly, no less important aspect is also the visual design of Windows. You need to choose an image on those resources where the characteristics of the OS are described in detail and at least a few screenshots are attached.

Thirdly, depending on technical characteristics computer, you need to select the bit depth and level of Windows. For example, how to install a new Windows from a flash drive if random access memory only 2 GB on PC? You should definitely choose either the Home version or the Professional version, and even then it’s a stretch. In addition, many early applications are not supported by x64 bits, so it is better to turn to x32 for help.

Well, if we talk about the choice of the operating system itself - from XP to Win 10, then it is at the discretion of the user. Each OS has its own advantages and disadvantages:

  • Windows XP. The good old “piggy” is optimal for work PCs. Supports most special programs and is not demanding on hardware characteristics. Minus - it is not supported by the developer and conflicts with new models of PCs and laptops.
  • Win 7 (Win 8). The undisputed leader in the Windows family. It is convenient, visually attractive and supports absolutely all applications. Suitable for both home use and corporate networks. Minus - will soon be officially discontinued by the developer. As for Windows 8, it is a modified “seven” with a simplified interface. Minus - it has a large number of bugs and worse visualization.
  • Win 10. The latest OS, combining the best from previous builds. Compact, with nice functionality and external design. Minus - conflicts with the performance of many applications, utilities and drivers, plus - increased license checking.

The choice is personal, but you need to understand that Win 7 will not be installed on a device with 1GB of RAM. More precisely, it will install, but it will be impossible to work on a PC due to constant processor overload and lack of physical memory.

On the other hand, the latest laptops will not be able to accept Windows XP due to the lack of suitable device drivers and performance conflicts.

Preparing your PC for reinstalling Windows

So, the desired image has been downloaded and is waiting for its turn to be installed. However, you should remember that installing Windows from a flash drive will simply delete all data on the system drive. Therefore, you should be concerned about the safety of files that the user will need in the future.

There are several solutions you can choose for this:

  • transferring data to another logical drive, if any;
  • saving the necessary files to removable media (DVDs and CDs, flash drives, external hard drives);
  • copying files to cloud storage(“Yandex”, “Mail”, etc.).

Important! Situations arise when a computer or laptop has just been purchased, and there is only one system disk. For the PC to function properly, it needs to be divided into several partitions.

Yes, it's very important point, when the equipment has only one working section. But it is highly not recommended to leave it in this state, since unexpected problems in the form of viruses or a technical failure will lead to complete loss of data. Therefore, it is very important to know how to install Windows from a flash drive on a laptop with one working partition.

Partitioning the hard drive into several partitions

Most assemblies contain special programs (for example, Acronis or Paragon) that make it possible to split the hard drive into several partitions.

IN optimal option The system disk should be made with a capacity of at least 100 GB (if, of course, the hard drive has a large capacity), and only then the remaining disk space should be divided at your discretion (there can be several logical disks). For full functionality, 20-30 GB is enough, but it’s better to take it with a reserve.

Finding out how to install Windows from a flash drive, or more precisely, how to set up hard drive partitions, is not a problem now, fortunately, there are a lot of detailed instructions on the Internet.

Separately, it is worth considering SSD drives. It is better to leave them in their original form, since in this way they can ensure maximum performance and speed of data exchange.

Preparing a bootable flash drive

The next important step is to create a bootable flash drive, with which the OS will be installed. To do this you will need the following components:

  • recording utility;
  • finished image;
  • flash drive with a minimum capacity of 8 GB.

Recognized leaders among programs that can easily cope with the task of installing Windows from a bootable flash drive are, of course, Ultra ISO and Rufus.

Their operating principle is similar:

  • the media is selected (the flash drive must be inserted);
  • select the image to be recorded;
  • ready.

The flash drive is formatted and the writing process begins.

For information! Simply copying a Windows image to a drive will not work, since there will be no sectors responsible for automatic booting, which works as a licensed disk.

However, there is a certain imbalance when choosing a recording program. If a problem arises, how to install Windows 10 from a flash drive, then it is better to use Ultra ISO or Astroburn, and in cases with Win 7 or Win 8, you can also use Rufus.

A brief overview of the best programs for creating a bootable flash drive

Perhaps the most widespread and easy-to-use program, problem solving, how to install Windows from a flash drive on a laptop or PC.

At the first stage, select the “File” - “Open” menu, after which the path to the already downloaded distribution is set.

At the third stage, the media on which the recording will be performed is selected (the flash drive must be inserted). Please note that all data on the media will be formatted, so if there are files you need on it, they should be copied to another location.

And lastly, press the “Burn” button, after which the application will begin mounting the bootable flash drive. That's it, you can start installing Windows.

The next leader is the Rufus program.

Its undoubted advantage in deciding how to install Windows from a flash drive is that there is no need to install it on a PC. It runs from a shortcut and takes up very little hard drive space.

By analogy with Ultra ISO, you first need to select the device to record to. Then the desired OS image is selected. That's all, you can press the “Start” button. Oh yes, another one important nuance- in the settings, the “Create boot disk” option must be checked.

WinSetupFromUSB closes the TOP 3 programs.

This is a rather interesting program that works on the same principle as the previous two. First, the location where the system image will be written is selected, then the option that determines what type of OS will be written is checked. And finally, the image itself is selected.

Burning a bootable flash drive without using third-party programs

There is another method, although not as popular as those described above, which will tell you how to install Windows from a flash drive. It's about about use command line.

First, launch the command line using the Win+R combination. The word cmd is entered in the line.

So, the line is running, you can get to work. Although we should immediately make a reservation that if there are doubts about whether it is possible to install Windows from a flash drive in this way, then it is better not to use it, but to turn to special programs.

  1. Selecting a disc to burn. To do this, enter and then activate the section for working with all kinds of disks. By entering the list disk command, you can see all active disks and their capacity. To use the desired partition for work, enter the select disk * command (where * is the number of the selected partition).
  2. Cleaning the disk for recording. To do this, use the Clean command. Here it is important to make sure that you select exactly the disk on which the OS image will be written. Otherwise, the integrity of the system may be damaged.
  3. Creating boot sectors and disk labels. The create partition primary command creates the primary partition on the flash drive (by default it occupies the entire free space of the media). And using assign letter=* (* is a letter of the Latin alphabet for the volume label).
  4. Activation of the section. The following procedures are aimed at how to install Windows from a flash drive via BIOS, i.e. so that the flash drive is displayed correctly in the initial settings. To do this, enter the select partition command indicating the number of the selected disk, as well as active - to activate it.
  5. Formatting. The last step left is to format the flash drive. You need to enter format fs=ntfs quick. That's it, the flash drive is ready for recording.

Now you need to exit the command line - enter exit. At the last stage, you need to find the source image and unpack it using any archiver to the desired flash drive.

BIOS setup

You only need to enter the BIOS to enable initial boot from a flash drive.

The user should not have any questions about how to install Windows from a flash drive via BIOS. Almost all PCs and laptops have a function to call the startup menu, which is called up with the F1 to F12 button (depending on the device model). If you can’t call this option, then you need to go into the BIOS at the very beginning Windows boot(the same variable keys - F2, F12, Del, Esc), go to the Boot menu, and then set USB: CD-ROM as the primary boot method.

Then you need to press F10 and the Enter key. After the computer restarts, data will begin loading from the flash drive.

By the way, different models of BIOS firmware have different menus. And most importantly, you need to remember that the shell is very fragile and the slightest incorrect change can lead to a complete malfunction of the PC.

Nuances of installing Windows 7 and Windows 8

The most popular operating system today, Windows 7, is quite easy to install. But if you are in doubt about how to install Windows from a flash drive to your computer, you should follow these steps.

When the OS installation menu appears, you need to select the partition in which it will be installed and format it. After which the installation will be performed automatically, only occasionally requiring user intervention (for example, entering the PC name or time zone).

The same is true for Win 8. This system is even easier to install; it is important to first clean the system disk, since several operating systems (new and existing) can create a conflict both at the level of drivers and internal applications, so you may need to reinstall Windows from a flash drive.

It is important to note that when you start the PC, the message Press any key to boot from CD or DVD should appear. If it is not there, then the BIOS settings are not configured correctly and you will have to go back to check.

The installation of Windows from a flash drive itself does not last long - from 20 to 40 minutes. Depending on the assembly and the availability of additional components (main programs and drivers) given time can vary both up and down. But if Windows is installed for more than an hour and a half, then it is better to roll back the installation and start over, having first formatted the system disk and checked it for errors.

As a matter of fact, installing Windows 7 from a flash drive at home will save not only time, but also money. After all, technical failures occur quite often for most users? Mainly due to poor quality builds and improper use of PC functionality.

Installing Windows 10

But with latest version Things are not going so smoothly for the popular operating system. And the reason lies in three Latin letters - GPT. New PCs and laptops are already being produced with such a technological interface for the hard drive. When creating a bootable drive, pay close attention to the “Select” item - high-quality programs provide a choice between MBR and GPT.

By the way, Windows 10 has special utility, which is called Media Creation. It itself offers the ability to record a boot image on removable media, so figuring out how to install Windows 10 from a flash drive is not difficult.

Of course, before installing Win 10, you should think about its shortcomings. For example, it can cause serious crashes and glitches in the operation of some applications. Especially those that she herself considers unlicensed.

Well, if you still need to install Windows from a flash drive, the instructions advise:

  • The best utility for Win 10 is Astroburn. It writes an image in a few clicks, automatically checking the integrity of sectors. In the absence of this utility, you can use Ultra ISO;
  • if there is no license key, then you need to select the appropriate item during system installation;
  • if the computer’s hard drive is in SSD format, then it is not necessary to split it into several partitions - everything is at the discretion of the user;
  • If the hard drive size is more than 2 TB, you must use GPT partitioning. Only in this case will the system use the entire volume.

Otherwise, the installation process is virtually no different from other systems.

You don't need to buy a disk and drive to install Windows 7, as you can install the operating system from a USB flash drive.

Inexperienced users are perplexed by the question of how to install Windows 7 from a flash drive. Not everyone knows how to install from a disk, and even fewer know how to install from USB. In fact, there is nothing complicated; it is important to strictly follow the installation instructions and not break the sequence of steps. Let's immediately decide what you need USB Flash or an external hard drive with a capacity of at least 4 GB. The file system in which the media is formatted does not matter. In addition, you can even burn the image to an SD card or an external device, for example, an MP3 player, which is recognized as a flash drive on the computer.

Installation sequence

If you install the OS on a blank disk, then you don't need to worry about its contents. If you are reinstalling the OS, remember that the disk on which you are installing the system will be completely formatted, which means that all data on the disk will be deleted. Therefore, the very first step you need to think about is what files you need to save. Next, follow the following instructions:

  • Download the OS;
  • Create installation media;
  • Changing BIOS settings;
  • We start the computer from an external device;
  • Follow the instructions for installing the OS;
  • Install drivers and update the installed OS;

These 6 steps are similar for all versions of the operating system; the scheme also works for other versions of the OS, including Windows Vista or Windows 8.

Where to download OS

You need to download not just system files, you need an ISO image suitable for writing to a flash drive. You can download it here. Already at this stage you need to decide which version of the OS you need. The question is not only whether you will use the “Home” or “Professional” version, but also what bit capacity it will have - 32 or 64 bits. After you decide on the OS version, download it to your hard drive.

How to write an OS to a flash drive

If you simply burn the distribution kit to USB, then you will not be able to run the OS from it, nor can you run the installation from a flash drive. To create bootable media you need to use specialized software. One of best programs for creating - . Let's look at creating this utility as an example. First of all, open our ISO image of Windows 7 inside UltraISO:

You need to choose not only the drive, but also the recording method. Select USB-HDD+, you don’t need to touch other settings.

How to start installation via BIOS

After you have created a flash drive with seven, you need to boot your computer from it. To do this, you need to reboot it and during system startup go into the BIOS and specify the startup sequence. Depending on the BIOS version, entry is available using the F2, Del, Esc keys, but there may be other keys. Inside the BIOS you need to find the BOOT tab, where you can specify the startup order. Your media must already be in the device, otherwise you will not be able to specify it to start when you start your PC. The loading sequence should be something like this:

After making changes to the BIOS, they must be saved and exited. Then the system will automatically reboot and start from USB.

Installation

After the start, the installation of the system itself will begin. If you downloaded the Russian version, then the entire installation will be accompanied by Russian instructions and recommendations. Just follow the instructions that appear on the screen, and within 20-30 minutes the operating system will be installed on your computer. If you have any questions, look at the instructions:

Don't forget that the hard drive where you install the OS will be formatted. This means that all data on the disk on which you are installing new system, will be deleted. Therefore, you need to take care of their preservation in advance.

Setup and updates

After installing Windows 7 on your computer, it’s too early to relax. Next you have to configure the system, and then install all the necessary drivers. For settings and drivers you can use the following programs:

  • DriverPack Solution;

The first program will optimize the operation of the system. The second program will automatically install all the necessary drivers. During setup, be sure to create a backup of the OS, as well as a first restore point, which will be useful to you in the future if you have any problems, for example, you encounter errors.

Quite often there is a need to install a new operating system. This is still relevant now, given the fact that in mid-April of this year Microsoft officially announced the end of technical support for Windows XP. It will still pass no more than 3-4 years before all users completely switch to Windows 7. And if you want to know in advance how to install Windows 7 from a flash drive, then this article will give you the information you need.

Installation takes place in several steps:

  1. Preliminary preparation of the user's PC for installing Windows 7;
  2. Preparing a USB flash drive for installing the operating system;
  3. Preliminary BIOS setup for reading information directly from a flash drive;
  4. OS installation via USB.

Let's take a closer look at each stage.

Preparing your computer for installation

Before installing the new Windows 7, you need to first prepare your computer. First of all, the user is recommended to save all important information contained on the computer. It is worth paying attention to the local drive C, since this is where the greatest number information. Most users store some of their media files on the desktop or in the “My Documents” folder, which are located on the disk with the operating system installed. In order not to lose some of your important files, you need to copy them either to another local drive, or save them to USB or other digital media.

Another important point that you should always remember: before installation, you need to check the availability of drivers for network card. If you install Windows 7 via USB, and then it turns out that the distribution did not have drivers for the network card, you will have neither the Internet nor the drivers. Therefore, play it safe once again and check the availability of drivers. And immediately check for the presence of other drivers - for the video card, for the audio card, drivers for the sound card, and so on.

Preparing USB for installation

To prepare a USB flash drive for installing Windows 7, you need to follow these recommendations:

  • The volume of the flash drive should be at least 4 GB - this is exactly how much space will be needed to be able to install the OS without losing important files and components;
  • You will also need a Windows 7 distribution kit, which will be recorded and saved in *iso format (disk images);
  • A utility that will help you create a disk image. You can use almost any program (you can use UltraISO).

After you have installed and launched the image creation program on your computer, you need to select a disk image that has been previously prepared for recording. We will look at the recording using the UltraISO program as an example - it is quite simple and understandable for all users.

A memory card or USB flash drive is connected to the computer, formatted and Windows 7 is written to it, which can then be installed on the computer via the same flash drive.

Setting up BIOS for installation

Is the flash drive ready for installation? There are a few steps left before actual installation. There is one important nuance: you need to “force” the computer to recognize the flash drive and allow you to install Windows 7 from the flash drive. And the BIOS will help in this matter. It is available on all computers, and in addition to many various functions, it allows you to change the boot order from external media.

The first thing you need to do is go into the BIOS. During the initial boot of the computer, you need to press a certain key (this is either F2, or Esc, or Delete). You will know that you have launched the BIOS when one of the screens appears in front of you:

The next step is to find a section through which you can configure the boot order from external devices. This section is called Boot, and it displays all devices that are connected to the computer in boot order (hard drive, CD/DVD media, USB port). Using the arrows on the keyboard, you need to make sure that the USB port is in first place in terms of relevance, and then press the F10 button, which saves the changes and restarts the computer. Now the computer is completely ready to install Windows 7 using a USB flash drive.

Installing Windows 7

After installing the flash drive into the port, a black screen and the message “Press any key” will appear. Press any button - immediately after this the process of automatic installation of Windows 7 will begin.

You will see a welcome screen asking you to select your language, time format, time zone, and keyboard layout. Have you all chosen? Now click the “Next” button and immediately after that the “Install” button.

The installation program will prompt you to select a version of the operating system that will be suitable for you in terms of functionality. After making your selection, click “Next” again, agree to the license terms and select the partition on which you want to install Windows 7. Have you chosen the partition? Now click the “Next” button and wait for the installation process via USB to complete.
