  4. Soak white cabbage leaves in a bowl of beet juice, preferably for several hours. Then cut them into the required shape and place them in the shape of a shell. Connect together using toothpicks. Fill with prepared salad.
  5. Make a pearl from a drunken cherry or olive. Place boiled and peeled shrimp on top of the salad circle. The salad is ready, try to serve it immediately after preparing the shell so that it does not have time to lose its original shape.

Pearl salad with orange

Ingredients:

  • trout - 150 gr.
  • chicken egg - 4 pcs.
  • orange - 1 pc.
  • hard cheese - 40 gr.
  • green olives - 30 gr.
  • Mayonnaise - 100 gr.
  • red caviar - 1–2 tbsp.
  • quail egg - 1 pc.
  • salt - 1 gr.
  • black pepper - 1 gr.

Cooking method:

  1. Prepare your ingredients. Boil the eggs until done. Separate the whites from the yolks. Chop the yolks with a knife. Grate the whites on a medium grater.

  3. Grate the cheese on a medium grater. Cut the olives into small cubes or thin strips.
  4. The salad is laid out in layers, so it is convenient to mix some ingredients separately with a small amount of mayonnaise.

  • parsley - 50 gr.

Cooking method:

  1. Prepare ingredients for salad. Boil chicken eggs. To prevent the eggs from bursting during cooking, their temperature must coincide with the temperature of the water. A tablespoon of salt thrown into water will also prevent cracking. Transfer the eggs to cold water for cooling. Remove the shell.
  2. Grate the whites, mash the yolks separately with a fork. Cut the salmon fillet into small cubes. Peel the orange and disassemble it into slices, then use scissors to remove the films and cut the pulp into slices. Strain the olives from the brine and cut into thin slices. Grate hard cheese.

Black Pearl Salad

Cooking method:

  1. Place the squid, defrosted in advance, in boiling water and cook for no more than 3 minutes so that it does not taste rubbery. Then we remove the film. When the squid has cooled, cut into thin strips.
  2. Pour boiled water over the shrimp, leave for a few minutes and drain in a colander.
  3. Crab sticks need to be removed from the refrigerator in advance so that they have time to defrost. Personally, I don’t use a microwave for this purpose, as they then lose all their taste. You can also replace the sticks with crab meat if desired. Finely chop the sticks.
  4. We take out the eggs, just like the sticks, in advance so that they can sit for a while. room temperature, then they will not burst during the cooking process. Place the eggs in a small saucepan, add salt, bring to a boil and cook for about 7-8 minutes. Then pour over cold water, so that they are easier to clean, and when they have cooled, we clean and separate the yolks from the whites. We don't need yolks, but grate the whites on a medium grater.
  5. In a deep bowl, mix grated whites, squid, crab sticks, shrimp and red caviar. Add a little salt and season with mayonnaise.
  6. Place the salad in a salad bowl and decorate with caviar. We place a pre-cooked quail egg in the middle of the salad bowl; it symbolizes a pearl.

How to properly store Pearl salad

If we talk about the proper storage of any salad, then it would be much more practical not to combine all the ingredients with mayonnaise at once, because chopped products without dressing are stored longer and without any damage to the taste and appearance.
