She did not give birth to children, having abortions, because he did not want them to appear. Now Leshchenko is rich and famous. Abdalova, alas, is an alcoholic. And six months ago she stopped answering phone calls altogether.

On June 19, Alla Abdalova turned 69 years old. For several months leading up to this date, I called her on the phone. But she didn’t pick up the phone. On her birthday, I stood outside her apartment with a bouquet of field daisies. I pressed the call button for a long time. No one came to the door.

I bought daisies for a reason. These are her favorite flowers. They were given to her by a man whom she still cannot forget, although more than 30 years have passed since their separation. She told me about this two years ago - during our last meeting.

Alla studied at GITIS in the operetta department. She had a voice of rare beauty. Soviet pop luminary Leonid Utesov drew the attention of the beautiful, talented student. He invited Abdalova to his famous ensemble “Jolly Fellows”. On the course, Allochka was considered a star.

– I moved to the third year. At first school year my friends told me the news: among the freshmen there was interesting guy, Abdalova said. - Tall, curly. The girls were delighted with him.

Leva immediately noticed Alla. At first, he came to the dance class where the senior students were practicing and watched her from afar. One day the girl couldn’t stand it and asked: “Why are you looking at me like that?” “You are an exact copy of my niece,” Leva said.

One day he met her at the door of the auditorium with a bouquet of daisies. It was her birthday.

“With this act, of course, he struck me down,” said Alla Alexandrovna.

Best of the day

They, holding hands, went to the front garden of GITIS. We had a student-style party: we opened a bottle of semi-sweet wine and drank without snacks. Since then, he walked her home every day.

– Although Leva studied two years younger, I am only a year older than him. He entered GITIS after the army. He was even a little shy. For some reason I was embarrassed by my curls. I wet my hair all the time, trying to straighten it. But he was never embarrassed by his lisp. The teachers told him that he needed to work with a speech therapist. But he doesn't care. He laughed it off: “And so good!”

In the evenings they wandered the streets until late. First - to her house, then - to his. One day he brought her to the apartment where he lived with his father, stepmother and sister. Everyone was asleep.

“Before Leva, I had men, and I didn’t get him as a virgin.” But never before or after him did I lose my head like that,” Abdalova recalled.

They dated for seven years before they decided to get married.

- We walked for two days. 40 guests were invited to the wedding,” Lev Leshchenko said in an interview. “They took all the things out of the room where dad and my adoptive mother lived and set the tables there. I had a suit, the bride had a dress. Her sister lived abroad and sent white for the occasion, but not her wedding dress.

While studying at GITIS, Alla showed great promise. It was she, and not Leo, who the experts predicted a great future for.

– Lev was even offended by this. I felt sorry for him, and I tried to support and promote him in every possible way,” Abdalova said.

Sociable and talented Alla became friends with composer Mark Fradkin and his wife. She asked Fradkin to help Lyova get on stage.

But even victories at prestigious Soviet years festivals in Sopot and the Golden Orpheus did not make it truly popular. Leshchenko was not invited to the radio and was not included in the concert program.

His fate changed radically thanks to the same Fradkin.

“I asked Mark Grigorievich to recommend Lev to the wonderful author of many hits - David Tukhmanov,” Alla Alexandrovna recalled. “And then one day Fradkin calls: “Bring Lyova to me.” Tukhmanov composed the song “Victory Day” and was looking for a good singer for it. Of course we were delighted. But for some reason Löwe didn’t like the song at first. He even wanted to give it up. I tried my best to convince him. Later he thanked me that I insisted on my own and he still sang. After “Victory Day” his career took off rapidly.

Once Lev Valerianovich, talking about his first marriage, said that he always wanted to have children, but Alla was in no hurry to give birth.

– I read this interview. Lyovushka is disingenuous,” the singer Abdalova denied. – Yes, from time to time we said that it was time to have children. But when the question was specific - to give birth or not to give birth, he avoided a direct answer.

According to Abdalova, as her husband’s popularity grew, her confidence melted that they would stay together forever. Lev increasingly went on tour alone and moved away from her.

Once, having become pregnant, she wanted to give birth to a baby. Alla asked her husband: “Do you love me? If yes, then I’ll give birth.” But Lev remained silent and quickly moved the conversation to another topic.

For Alla it was a disaster. She is no longer loved, and why then give birth to children from him! Wiping away her tears, she went to the midwife.

They continued to live. Sometimes it seemed to her that everything was fine and she was still loved.

– I remember he flew back from Japan from a tour. “There are a lot of impressions, he can’t wait to tell him everything,” Alla Alexandrovna recalled.

“And there’s only one thing spinning in my head: I’m pregnant again.” What should we do this time? She started the conversation carefully. I ask: “Lyovushka, what should I do?” And he waved it off, muttered, “Do as you please... Since then I haven’t asked him. Of course, he was always selfish and felt like a spoiled child. Now I understand: I shouldn’t have asked him, I should have just given birth. He has a soft, pliable character. He would be a good father. But then, unfortunately, I didn’t understand all this. Well, let her stay with the child. It's better than being alone.

One day, after an operation, a doctor told me that I could have two twin boys. I was shocked. I don't remember how I got home. I go into the apartment, and there Leva is lounging in a chair and making an agreement on the phone with Slava Dobrynin to take a walk through the hot spots. He didn’t even look at me, didn’t notice or didn’t want to notice that I was feeling bad. He got ready and left as if nothing had happened. I realized that I was living with a callous, indifferent and narcissistic person. But she still continued to adore him.

Although Alla doubted her husband’s love, she did not want to divorce him. Moreover, he did not give a reason: he did not go on parties, he preferred to spend time with his family. Trouble came from where Abdalova did not expect it.

Leshchenko’s friend, Fima Zuperman, often visited them. In the 70s, he was known as a card sharper. Zuperman shamelessly dropped in to visit. It was impossible to send him out. He stayed for several days, treating his hosts to wine.

“For Leva it was a real disaster. The next morning he goes to sign up for the radio, but he can’t move his tongue. After drinking, his already incorrect diction suffered greatly and only one hiss escaped from him.

Of course, I drove Fima away. He got angry at me and said: “Since you don’t want to communicate with me, then I will make Lyova leave you.” I didn’t pay attention to his threats. But in vain. He turned out to be vindictive.

On one of his trips to the south, Zuperman arranged for Löw to meet a young lady named Irina. There they began an easy holiday romance.

– After returning from the south, Leva began to disappear somewhere often. I felt that he had a woman. But at the same time, he did not try to leave, and we continued to live as if nothing had happened. Everything could have worked out. Gradually the romance would fade away. But my nerves, you fools, couldn’t stand it,” Abdalova repents. “It was pounding in my brain: I trusted him, but he deceived me.” Well, she couldn’t resist pointing to the door. She also filed for divorce. Now I really blame myself for this. Lyova is a coward, indecisive, he himself would never dare to take a suitcase and leave. And it turns out I helped my rival.

At these words, Alla Alexandrovna began to cry. She and I sat on a bench at the entrance. She held her photograph in her hands. A blooming, beautiful, well-groomed woman looked from her. Next to me was an emaciated, toothless old woman. However, I couldn’t dare call her completely degenerate. Rather, she looked very unhappy and forgotten by everyone. She was wearing worn, but clean and carefully ironed clothes. While talking, she smelled of fumes. Alla Alexandrovna began frantically looking for a cigarette. Not finding it, I went to shoot as usual. She returned, staggering uncertainly. I felt sorry for this unfortunate woman. Sitting down, she began to sing quietly.

According to her, after the divorce she never remarried. At first there were fans around, but over the years they disappeared. Shortly before our meeting, television crews managed to raid her apartment. She didn’t talk to them, but they managed to rent her wretched home.

“My apartment is a terrible mess,” Abdalova admitted. “There are a lot of things that have accumulated that would be a pity to throw away, but I simply don’t have the strength to sort out what is needed and what is not.”

Alla Alexandrovna said that she has relatives - a sister, a niece, but they have their own concerns. And she was tired of being alone. Hoping to escape from mental suffering, she once went into church and sang along with the singers. Since then, I began to travel with the choir to churches in the Moscow region and sing according to church holidays. And not only because she was paid for singing. The singers became her only truly close people.

I was about to leave, but Alla Alexandrovna did not let me go, continuing to talk about her Lev.

“I believe that, no matter what, he will come to me,” she said, as a tear rolled down her cheek. “I haven’t even seen him on TV for 30 years.” I didn't include it on purpose. For me, he remained as young and handsome. I still love him, I wish him only happiness and I’m waiting...

On her birthday, I decided to congratulate the poor woman in order to dispel her loneliness. Not finding her at home, she continued to call every day. Anxiety arose, wondering if something had happened to her. And then a month later I managed to get through to her neighbor. It turns out that after the New Year there was almost a fire in Alla Alexandrovna’s apartment. The smell of smoke was sensed in time by the residents of the entrance. Whether she accidentally put out the cigarette or deliberately started the fire, no one knows for sure.

“This was the second time there had been a fire.” short term, says the neighbor. “Alla would definitely have burned down the apartment if her relatives hadn’t shown up.” They threw out the trash from the rooms, washed everything, and took Alla to the village where they have a house. They say she was coded for drunkenness. Thank God, otherwise I feel sorry for her. She’s still quite a strong woman, despite her drinking, and she’s also educated. And when she’s sober, it’s even interesting to talk to her. There’s just one thing she doesn’t want to understand, that you can’t rewrite life again and Lyova will never return to it.

After this conversation, I found on the Internet a miraculously preserved recording of one of Abdalova’s concerts with Leshchenko. Young and beautiful, they sing “Old Maple” in a duet. This tape preserved not only a recording of a wonderful performance of the song. She is their testimony mutual love. How much devotion there is in Alla’s eyes when she looks at her husband! And he looks at her with tenderness and adoration. And I can’t even believe that in the same 1976, when the concert was recorded, they broke up. It was then, during a tour in Sochi, that Leshchenko met Irina, the daughter of a diplomat. And two years later they got married. Only, unfortunately, Lev Valerianovich’s new wife never gave birth to children.

The biography of Lev Leshchenko began from the moment of his birth in the capital of our Motherland at a time when a terrible war was going on around the world. The boy's parents had nothing to do with the world of theater or music.

Father - Valeryan Leshchenko - went through the entire Great Patriotic War, he served in the State Security Committee and border troops. By the way, before the war he was educated at a gymnasium and worked as an ordinary accountant at a vitamin factory.

Mother - Claudia Leshchenko - did not live long in this world, as she died a year after giving birth.

Sister - Yulia Leshchenko - was born four years after the marriage of their father and mother, nothing more is known about her.

The sister, Valentina Leshchenko, is a paternal stepmother, since she was born by her stepmother, to whom the guy was always grateful. The difference between brother and sister was seven years, but the guys were incredibly friendly. Valya received higher education, gave birth to a daughter, Valeria, and got married, but Lev constantly helped her in everything. Moreover, last year the woman was hospitalized due to complications from a cold, so she is undergoing rehabilitation.

Little Leva grew up without a mother, so his father assigned him to his own border unit, and Adjutant Andrei Fisenko became the nanny for the son of the regiment. The four-year-old boy wore a uniform, walked on army skis and marched with the soldiers.

Afterwards he settled in Sokolniki, where he went to school and several clubs at the same time, since in addition to vocals he also studied in a brass band, choir, recitation club and swam in the pool. Moreover, at the insistence of the choirmaster, Leva began to study only vocals, abandoning other studies.

The highlight of Leshchenko’s performances was the performance of Leonid Utesov’s songs not only at school concerts, but also at citywide events. But the guy was unable to enter the theater school, so he worked either at a factory as a mechanic or as a stage worker at the Bolshoi Theater. At my father’s request, I ended up not in the Marine Fleet, but in the tank forces, and even in the group Soviet troops in Germany. There he continued to sing, conducted amateur performances and concerts, and after his service he entered GITIS and began serving at the Operetta Theater, touring as part of a concert crew throughout the USSR.

In addition to his solo career, Leshchenko performed compositions in duets with Tolkunova and Senchina, the groups Megapolis and Lyceum, Alsou and Jasmine. He starred in the films “Yurkin Dawns”, “Old Songs about the Main Thing”, “Doomed to Become a Star”, “The Path to Saturn”, “Looking for the Dawn”.

By the way, Leshchenko often said that he loves absolutely all women, since performing for them is eroticism, a kind of sacrament and the spread of such fluids, from which new fans are born.

For a long time there were rumors that Lev Valeryanovich different years throughout his life he had affairs with his partners, but he calls Tolkunova, Chursina, Sviridova, Apina and Koroleva his mothers and stage sisters, but far from his mistresses or spouses. Although he often says that he falls in love with every scene partner, considering them his favorites.

Family of Lev Leshchenko

Lev Leshchenko's family was unusual, since he lost his mother early and almost never saw his father, since he served in the KGB. At the same time, the boy was raised by his father’s colleagues, that is, he was considered a real son of the regiment. By the way, Leva’s only friend was his paternal grandfather Andrei, who loved music and often played an ancient violin for his grandson. He infected his grandson with singing, as well as his love for Leonid Utesov, whose songs his grandfather and Leva sang in duet.

By the way, the Leshchenko family is quite old, since it dates back to his great-grandfather, a serf, who became a baker in Bila Tserkva. Leva had a stepmother, Marina Leshchenko, who raised him and put him on his feet, so the man is still grateful to her.

Children of Lev Leshchenko

The children of Lev Leshchenko never came into this world, although the man was happily married twice. At the same time, the man officially said that he never wanted children because he was busy with his career.

However, his ex-wife Alla Abdalova, amid a frank conversation, admitted that she was pregnant with Leshchenko’s child, but had several abortions from him, since the singer never said that he loved her, and the woman wanted to be confident in the future.

Alla claims that she now regrets this, since she could have given birth to a son, and then two twin sons from her husband, if she had consulted him and had a heart-to-heart talk.

At the same time, the second wife Irina was much younger than her chosen one, but she had problems with women’s health, so she could not give her other half the children he dreamed of.

Ex-wife of Lev Leshchenko - Alla Abdalova

Lev Leshchenko’s ex-wife, Alla Abdalova, appeared in the singer’s life when he was in his third year and she was in her fifth year at GITIS. Moreover, Alla was a year older than the guy, since he entered the university after the army.

The guys met in a dance class when Lev said that Alla or Albina was incredibly similar to the singer’s niece. At the same time, the girl asked to visit to look at little Lera, and the stepmother decided that this was his future wife.

After classes, Lev would accompany Alla home, and then she would accompany him, and then everything would repeat itself again, often until dark. Before they legalized their relationship in 1966, the young people lived together for seven years, but not in the same house, but secluded themselves either with Lev’s parents or with Albina’s sister.

The guys organized their own ensemble “Old Maple”, and began to perform many of Leshchenko’s songs with light hand his wife, for example, he didn’t like “Victory Day” so much that he flatly refused to perform it in public until Albina asked.

The woman was not only the artist’s wife, but also recorded with him in a duet the compositions “Old Maple”, “Yurka Dawns”, “Song of Young Neighbors”. She for a long time worked at the Mosconcert, retired, and now lives alone, sings in church and abuses alcohol.

At the same time, in a few interviews, she says that she herself let go of her beloved Leshchenko in 1976, because he began to cheat on her with the younger Ira Bagudina. She had not seen her husband for three decades, even on television.

Lev Leshchenko's wife - Irina Leshchenko

Lev Leshchenko’s wife, Irina Leshchenko, came from a family of diplomats; she lived in Germany throughout her childhood and received a higher education in economics at the University of Budapest.

At the same time, young people met in 1976 in Sochi, where Ira spent her holidays. However, the girl lived in Hungary, so she didn’t know who Lev was, so she mistook him for a mafia leader. Leshchenko admitted that the beautiful Irishka, who was twelve years younger than him, became his love at first sight.

The man did not return home for several weeks, and when he returned, he saw the suitcase packed by his wife. The marriage took place in 1978, and Irina made some sacrifices. For example, she moved from Budapest to the USSR, and also changed her type of activity.

Irina Leshchenko worked for a long time as an assistant director at her husband’s famous theater.

On Tuesday night, at the 100th year of his life, the father of People's Artist of Russia Lev Leshchenko, Valerian Leshchenko, died. Valeryan Andreevich died at home. At this time, his son was not with him: Lev Leshchenko is now on tour.

As the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper writes today, Valeryan Andreevich was a retired military man, colonel of the border troops, participated in two wars: the Finnish and the Great Patriotic War, for his distinctions in which he was awarded government awards.

According to those close to him, two things were most important to him in life: service and family. Everyone who knew Valeryan Leshchenko will remember him as a patriot, a man of great courage, decent and responsible.

It was not possible to contact Lev Leshchenko, and journalists called him to the best friend To Vladimir Vinokur: “Leva was on tour in Chisinau - he was told this bitter news at night, and he immediately bought a plane ticket. Now I also can’t contact Leva. Mobile is not available: apparently, he is still on the flight now.” .

“What can I say: his father, Valeryan Andreevich, was a historical man,” Vinokur noted. “A former career officer who defended Moscow in 1941. Always slender, fit - in general, Leva took after his father. I can’t even imagine that happened to him. After all, before last days As far as I know, Valeryan Andreevich felt well, was of sound mind, dreamed of how he would celebrate his anniversary this year - after all, he was only a few months short of reaching his centenary. It's a pity".

The civil funeral service will take place on March 4, 2004 at 11.00 at the address: Moscow, Tsyurupy Street, building 31 (morgue of the Institute of Morphology). The funeral will take place at the Mashkinskoye cemetery.

According to the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper, Leshchenko learned the news about his father’s death in the afternoon from his wife. There was no way to cancel the concert - all tickets were sold out. Leshchenko held a rehearsal at 16.00, after which he locked himself in the dressing room. Exactly at 18.00 he took the stage. The artist “performed” the concert, which lasted more than two hours, in such a way that no one in the crowded hall guessed about his experiences, the newspaper notes. There were no flights to Moscow in the evening. The singer flew home only yesterday, March 3.

Later, Lev Leshchenko told the Izvestia newspaper about his father:

My father was from Lyubimovka, near Kursk, and graduated from high school in Kursk. After the revolution, he went to work on a state farm as a simple worker. Civil War I found him a fifteen-year-old boy with a high school education. In 1931, my father was sent to Moscow, where he began working as an accountant at a vitamin plant on Krasnaya Presnya. Five years later I met mine expectant mother Klavdia Petrovna Fedoseeva, a native of Ryazan. Four years later she was born elder sister Julia.

In 1939, my father, as a graduate of special military courses, was awarded the rank of lieutenant, and he went to the Soviet-Finnish war. And in 1940, having been demobilized, he returned to his vitamin plant. But not for long. On the second day after the start of the Great Patriotic War Father, as a senior reserve lieutenant, reported to the Sokolniki military registration and enlistment office, where he was assigned to the special forces. My father visited us quite regularly, supplying the whole family with food from his service rations, which was a huge help at that time.

As soon as he was informed that his son was born, he immediately rushed home, taking with him a loaf of bread, a quarter of alcohol and some other products from his ration. The alcohol was diluted with water, all the necessary washings and washings were performed, after which they wrapped me in swaddling clothes and had a small family feast. And after a year or two, my father made a decision - in order not to be torn between service and home, he brought me, my mother and sister to Bogorodskoye, where he settled in a barracks for the families of officers. I remember on rare days when he came home from work, I was woken up late at night and our communication began, during which he let me play with his pistol and saber.

Fate did not offend him: ninety-nine years also means something. It seems to be in our family full order, they say: it’s all about genes. But I believe that at the same time one must also be able to manage such a valuable inheritance and not squander it on trifles. Intelligence was in his blood - even being a very old man, he would certainly get up if a woman entered the room. My father was an unusually modest man. He gave all of himself to his family and service.

Based on materials from Russian media

Lev Valeryanovich Leshchenko. Born on February 1, 1942 in Moscow. Soviet and Russian crooner. People's Artist of the RSFSR (1983).

He told about the circumstances of his birth: “I was born in February 1942 in Sokolniki. At that time, the Germans were in the Moscow region and a fierce battle was going on for Moscow. Maternity hospitals were not working, and therefore my mother gave birth to me right in the apartment - they lived in two-story house, still built by a merchant. Two grandmother neighbors delivered the baby... Family legend says that at the time of my birth he managed to bring a loaf of bread and a quarter of alcohol. The old women diluted the alcohol with water and rinsed me in this solution, having previously heated the room with a stove, which was done extremely rarely, although the cold at home was terrible - plus three or four degrees."

His roots are in the village of Nizy, Sumy district, Kharkov province, where his grandfather Andrei Vasilyevich Leshchenko was born, who in 1900 moved from here to the village of Lyubimovka, Kursk province, where he got a job as an accountant at a sugar factory. As Leshchenko said, his grandfather was a musically gifted man, he sang in a church choir and played the violin in a string quartet at the factory.

Father - Valeryan Andreevich Leshchenko (1904-2004), graduated from a gymnasium in Kursk, worked on a state farm, and in 1931 he was assigned to Moscow, where he began working as an accountant at a vitamin plant in Krasnaya Presnya. Drafted into the Red Army, fought in Soviet-Finnish war, upon return from which he was sent to serve in the NKVD. During the Great Patriotic War, he was deputy chief of staff of a special-purpose regiment of convoy troops and was awarded many orders and medals. At the end of the war and until his retirement, he continued to serve in the MGB, the Main Directorate of Border Troops of the KGB. Died at the age of 99.

Mother - Leshchenko Klavdiya Petrovna (1915-1943), died at 28 years old. “Trouble came in September 1943. Something happened to my mother’s throat - either cancer or tuberculosis. How to treat if there is no medicine? They didn’t save it, they buried it,” said Lev Valeryanovich.

My grandmother, my mother’s mother, moved in with them from Ryazan. However, his father did not have a good relationship with her. However, she managed to baptize her grandson: “when my grandmother and I went to see her in Ryazan, she baptized me there in secret from my father. When dad found out about this, he was shocked, and they completely quarreled.”

Soon the father moved the family to Bogorodskoye, where his unit was based, and they settled in an officer’s barracks. The father was busy in the service, and in those years his adjutant, Sergeant Major Andrei Fisenko, was involved in raising the future singer.

Little Lev grew up like a “son of the regiment”: he dined in the soldiers’ canteen, practiced at the shooting range, and marched in formation to the movies. At 4 years old I wore military uniform, in winter he walked on soldier's skis, which were three times longer than the boy. Lev visited his grandfather Andrei Leshchenko, who before October revolution was an accountant and loved music very much: grandfather Andrei played the old violin and taught his grandson to sing.

In 1948, he had a stepmother, Marina Mikhailovna Leshchenko (1924-1981), who gave birth to Lev Leshchenko’s sister, Valentina Valerianovna Kuznetsova (née Leshchenko) (born 1949). “Marina Mikhailovna Sizova turned out to be a kind-hearted, caring, patient stepmother. She came to Moscow from the village of Ternovka, which is along the Volgograd road, entered a medical institute here, and when she got together with her dad, she dropped out of school because she had to raise three children,” - the artist said.

His childhood was spent in Sokolniki, then the family moved to the Voykovsky district, where Lev went to school No. 201.

He attended the choir in the house of pioneers, went in for swimming, attended a literary circle and a brass band. At the insistence of the choirmaster, he gives up classes and only practices singing, performs at school, and performs popular songs.

Lev Leshchenko recalled: “I started singing in the second grade. I suddenly developed a voice, and the music teacher, Lyudmila Andronikovna, began taking me to different musical groups - showing me. She settled on the children’s choir of the Falconer’s House of Pioneers, where I then went for three years. Everyone gasped: “Oh, what a voice the boy has!” "In the tenth grade, I started singing seriously. I bought all sorts of records - I especially liked Italian tenors - I listened and sang. Although I had a strong baritone, which later, in college, turned into a bass-baritone."

After school, he tried to enter theater universities, but he did not succeed, so from 1959 to 1960, he worked as a stagehand at the Bolshoi Theater.

Then, from 1960 to 1961, he worked as a fitter at a precision measuring instruments factory. Personal life of Lev Leshchenko:

Was married twice. Have no children.

First wife - (born 1941), singer and theater actress. Married from 1966 to 1976.

They got married when Leshchenko was in his third year. Alla Abdalova was a fifth-grade student and was considered the most talented and promising at the university. “A classical singer, with a beautiful deep mezzo-soprano, a student of Maria Petrovna Maksakova. She was taken into the trainee group of the Bolshoi Theater. But it so happened that because of me she joined the stage. When at the beginning of my third year I was invited to play at the Operetta Theater, I told the artistic director of our course, director Ansimov: “Georgy Pavlovich, I will work for you, just take one more girl.” Not that I set a condition, but I asked very persistently. Alla was hired, and she worked there for two years,” said Lev Valeryanovich.

The discord in the relationship began when Lev Leshchenko’s career took off, he toured a lot, and they began to work in different teams.

The singer recalled: “From the moment Alla and I scattered among different organizations, life began to separate us - we each endlessly went on our own tours. At the same time, I became more and more popular, and she, with all her unconditional talent, remained in the shadows . Which, of course, wounded her. Conflicts, reproaches, violent quarrels began. The situation was heating up. The explosion occurred in 1974 after my one and a half month trip to Japan with some ensemble. Reconciliation was already difficult for us, but then disagreements reached their peak peak. I arrived, and it began: “You only think about yourself, you cheated on me there, you had affairs!” It was simply unbearable, my nerves couldn’t stand it, I felt that I wouldn’t last long. And Alla and I separated. However, the next year we tried to mend the relationship again. But you can’t step into the same river twice. To be honest, creative people rarely get along together. At the heart of the problem is jealousy - both creative and human."

Alla Abdalova - the first wife of Lev Leshchenko

According to the memoirs of Alla Abdalova, “before Leva, I had men, and he did not come to me as a virgin. But never - neither before nor after - I lost my head like that.” The reason for the breakup of the family, according to Abdalova, was Leshchenko’s affair with Irina Bagudina and the numerous abortions that she was forced to have during marriage due to her husband’s reluctance to have children. She especially grieved the loss of two twin boys. After her divorce from Leshchenko, Alla Alexandrovna never married again and never gave birth to children, which she later bitterly regretted. Along with loneliness, bad habits gradually entered Abdalova’s life.

Second wife - Irina Pavlovna Leshchenko (nee Bagudina, born 1954). They met in 1976 on tour in Sochi. They were introduced by his friend, who was dating Irina’s friend. At that time she was studying in Hungary to become a diplomat.

“And, imagine, I fell in love with Ira almost immediately. It happens like this: I saw it, and inside it was like a signal - mine! As if someone from above whispered: this woman was sent to you, destined, she is your destiny. First of all, Ira attracted me visually - she still looks good, but then she was a rare beauty: a spectacular brunette, though too thin for my taste, but most importantly, she exuded a kind of peace and unaffected love of life. And she was unusually feminine - impeccable style, charm, a little bit of slyness, an insinuating voice, cheerful sparkles in her eyes. And I was also struck by her indifferent attitude towards my person,” said the singer.

In 1978 they got married.

He is interested in sports. As a fan he loves tennis, basketball, swimming. He was the honorary president of the Lyubertsy basketball club “Triumph” (before the team moved to St. Petersburg).

One of positive qualities past musicians had a love for their work. If they started making music, they did it from the heart, and with great talent, without having anything in return. One of these people is our hero Lev Leshchenko. His biography is very extensive and very interesting.

It just so happened that Leo’s birth happened at the very height of the war, in 1942. His father went through the entire war, and after it did not leave military affairs. His mother died very young, and his father married a second time. And they had a daughter, the sister of the singer Valentina.

The father was very busy in the service, so little Lev was raised by the whole regiment; he ate only in the army canteen. He was also a grandfather and actively participated in the boy’s upbringing. And it was he who instilled in him a love of music, since he himself loved it very much. He constantly played the violin for his grandson and taught him to sing.

The singer spent his childhood in Sokolniki. He was very developed child, took on all the mugs. What did he not do? But soon his singing director convinced him that he needed to focus on music. The boy listened and soon became a star at school concerts.

After graduating from school, he really wanted to take up his education, but unfortunately his dreams did not come true, which made him very sad. He went to work as a laborer in a theater. Then he moved to the factory. And then the singer began his army service. He really wanted to be a sailor, but his father convinced him that it would be better to join the tank forces. Soon he began to participate in the song and dance ensemble, on the advice of the commander. He was appointed soloist. He became actively involved in this activity. He led concerts, sang, read poetry. And at the same time he continued to prepare for admission to the theater.

After returning from the army, the first thing the artist did was to enroll. But the exams at the institute were already over at that time. The commission decided to give the singer a chance. He sang the aria, but did not particularly impress the commission. But they decided to accept him. But his studies benefited him. Already, after a year, his singing changed a lot. While in his second year, he went to work in operetta.

Soon he became an operetta theater artist. And later he became a soloist at the USSR State Television and Radio. Received many awards and prizes. After 11 years, he became an honored artist, which he was very happy about. And six years later he rose to the rank of People's Artist.

The only thing was that she was too thin, which was not to his taste. She also amazed him by the fact that she was indifferent to him as a singer. Lev Leshchenko and his wife Irina Leshchenko have been happily married for 30 years.

As for his first wife, she was just like him creative personality. Her name was Alla Abdalova. They were married to her for ten whole years, but as they say, they did not get along in character. Two identical professions did not get along in one family. They separated, then got back together. But it didn't work out. As the singer says, you cannot step into the same river twice. And they parted completely. Alla herself regrets that this happened, but Leo is very happy with his second wife.

Lev Leshchenko and his children

It so happened that Leo has no children. Yes, this is a big sadness for him. With their first wife they had no time for children. Each was pursuing their own career, but soon they separated. But with the second wife everything is tragic. Not long after the wedding, the couple learned that Irina was childless, and they forever came to terms with this thought. In all the articles Lev Leshchenko and his children, it is written that they do not exist. Although the hero himself dreamed of big family. He wanted at least five children. But fate acted differently. It's a shame for their family.
