Collection “Tests in a children's organization. Tests for a leader"

“GOLDEN RULE” OF SELF-TESTING: the final results of any test should be treated MAXIMUM CRITICALLY

HOW TO WORK WITH TESTS?

All tests in this book are described according to a single scheme - in the sequence in which you should work on them. After a brief introduction and instructions for taking the test, there are questions that you must answer. Then it is explained exactly how to calculate the results obtained, the so-called “key” is given, with which you should compare your answers and sum up the points you have scored. At the end of the test description, you can read the psychological diagnosis and recommendations of the psychologist.

If you want to get fairly truthful information about yourself, work “by all the rules”!

Rule 1. Do not rush to look at the end of the test - the answer key. Why tempt yourself? Be aware of the phenomenon of “social desirability”!

Rule 2. Read the instructions carefully. When answering the test questions, try to understand their meaning as accurately as possible.

Rule 3. Be sincere! After all, no one will know about the results of the self-test except you. Why deceive yourself? Do not forget about the psychological “traps” and “tricks” of our consciousness. And again - remember the phenomenon of “social desirability”!

Rule 4. When getting acquainted with your psychological diagnosis, treat it in accordance with the golden rule of self-testing: the final results of any test should be treated as critically as possible! And in many cases - even with a hefty dose of humor. If the results are “good,” do not become euphoric; if the results are “bad,” do not become despondent.

Rule 5. To control yourself, ask the test questions to be answered for you. loved one who knows you well.

TEST "WHO ARE YOU?"

From the shapes, choose the one you like best: circle, square, rectangle, zigzag, triangle.

Characteristics of Personality Types

"SQUARE"

He is distinguished by hard work, diligence, patience, methodicalness and accuracy. Usually a highly qualified specialist in his field. When perceiving information, he is focused on details and details, on numbers and facts. Strength -mental analysis. Never guesses the result, but calculates it. At the same time, it acts very logically and consistently. When making a decision, she considers the options in detail. Serious, practical and economical. Prefers a life that is planned and ordered to the extreme. Everything should be in its place, everything should happen in its own time,” this is the “square’s” idea of order. He strictly follows all the rules and instructions. Often, due to an excessive passion for analyzing all the details of a problem, he is slow in making decisions. Doesn't like to take risks. But he carries out all his decisions thoroughly and accurately. Sometimes it is characterized by excessive pedantry and rationality. In communication, he avoids situations associated with violent manifestations of emotions. Dryness and coldness interfere with the rapid establishment of personal contacts. Appearance conservative, neat. The clothes are, as they say, “typical” for a person of his position and profession. The speech of the “square” is slow, thorough, and logical. Gestures are precise, spare. The poses are often constrained and tense.

"TRIANGLE"

A tendency towards leadership is characteristic. Inclined to rivalry and competitiveness. Self-confident, decisive, impatient, sometimes intolerant and categorical. Has great difficulty admitting his mistakes. Impulsive, willing to take risks. Ambitious. Focused on career, success in society. If for a "square" it is a matter of honor to do their job in the best possible way, then for triangle" the main thing is to surpass others, achieve high status and the benefits associated with it.

A distinctive feature of thinking is the ability to concentrate on the main thing, on the essence of the problem. It does not produce a detailed analysis of all possible options, like the previous sign. Search the most; effective solution limited to choosing the best of two or three promising options.

Pragmatist. In any business, he thinks first of all about personal gain, by the way, not necessarily material gain. The dominant attitude is to win, win, succeed. Tends to get carried away to the point of striving for victory “at any cost.” Exciting. Very self-centered, with a pronounced focus on oneself.

Energetic. Witty. A great speaker. Has high performance. Sociable. The image of a successful person. The appearance is fashionable, elegant, strict. The speech of the “triangle” is clear, concise, fast, and logical. The poses are relaxed. Gestures are broad, expressive, and confident.

First of all, interested in good interpersonal relationships with others. Friendly. The highest value for him is people and their well-being. Organizes his life in full accordance with the motto of Leopold the Cat from the children's cartoon.

Great communicator. Has high sensitivity and developed empathy. Able to feel other people's joy and pain as if they were their own. In communication, he tends to blur the line between business and personal relationships. I am sure that colleagues need to be turned into friends.

In conflicts he is compliant and pliable. Indecisive in behavior. Very emotional. Sentimental. He is sometimes prone to melancholy and blames himself for the misfortunes of others. Much more often he is carelessly cheerful than sad and thoughtful. Generous, willing to give gifts, caring. Firm in matters of morality. Extremely sensitive to violations of the principle of justice. Has the ability to persuade and convince. Chatty.

Thinking in a “circle” is figurative, intuitive, and emotionally charged.

The appearance is informal and casual. He prefers sweaters and jumpers to formal suits and ties. The speech is soothing, relaxing, and contains inconsistent deviations from the main thing. My favorite genre of "circles" is "story within a story." The greeting is emphatically friendly. Frequent smile. Often compliments. The latter, unlike “triangles”, are not usually focused on achieving personal gain and do not demonstrate “what phrases he can come up with”... The poses are relaxed. Gestures are free and smooth.

"ZIGZAG"

Creativity and the desire for creativity are clearly expressed. Focused on the future. Dreamy. Obsessed with our ideas. Enthusiast. Often an intellectual. Receptive to everything new, inclined to see the world as constantly changing.

Thinking is extremely figurative, intuitive, mosaic. “Zigzags” like to combine completely different ideas and create on this basis something new, original; his thoughts make desperate leaps. Characterized by conceptuality. If other signs live in the world of people and things, then “zigzag” lives in the world of ideas and concepts.

Often neglects details in his reasoning. He needs numbers and facts only as a leap to a new idea. Often superficial. Tends to build simplified pictures of the world. As a result, he sometimes makes mistakes both in people and in business. Interests are extremely scattered. Undisciplined. Prefers to work alone. Impractical. Distinguished by carelessness in financial matters.

“Zigzag” sometimes lacks “policy.” He is ready to “cut the truth in the face”, or rather, to say what seems to him to be true. Witty. Sarcastic. In communication he readily demonstrates the “rebel philosophy”.

The appearance is careless, sometimes sloppy. Sometimes he is extravagant and super fashionable. Speech is inconsistent from the point of view of others (has an internal consistency that is understandable only to this “zigzag”). He speaks vividly, figuratively, and captivatingly about what is interesting to him. Postures are quickly changing, relaxed. Animated gestures.

"RECTANGLE"

Unlike all other signs, belonging to the “rectangle” is less stable. This is a temporary form of personality that arises during periods of crisis of a person. A sharp change in professional status, extreme tension in family relationships, exacerbation of the disease, long-term stress, personal life problems can turn any of us into a “rectangle” for a period from several hours to several months. What kind of people do we become?

The main mental state of this sign is a state of confusion, confusion, and uncertainty. As a result, internal tension and emotional arousal are noticeably expressed. Actions are very inconsistent and unpredictable. There is a clear sense of self-doubt. Trusting, suggestible, sometimes naive.

Maximum openness to everything new. Curious, inquisitive in situations where he hopes to find a way out of the current state of affairs. Sometimes he was bold to the point of recklessness.

Forgetful. Tends to lose things. Unpunctual. To a greater extent than others, the “rectangle” is susceptible to colds and injuries. Becomes an unwitting participant in various types of incidents. Gets tired quickly at work. Often makes hasty or, on the contrary, belated decisions. I am ready to shift my blame onto others and criticize them unreasonably. Perhaps the only sign that prefers new friends to old ones (they seem to “know him better”). In communication, he tends to imitate the behavior of others (“trying on roles”).

Appearance is changeable, careless, out of tune with the situation. Disorder is common in the workplace. Speech is uncertain, confused, unrhythmic. Often clumsy. Gestures are sharp, abrupt, nervous, unfinished. Running glance.

Interpretation of test results

less than 25, then the qualities of a leader are weakly expressed.
. If the sum of points is within from 26 to 35, then the leader’s qualities are expressed averagely.
. If the sum of points turns out to be from 36 to 40, then leadership qualities are strongly expressed.
. If the sum of points more than 40, then this person as a leader is prone to dictatorship.

A person’s ability to be a leader largely depends on the development of organizational and communication skills. What characterological personality traits should a true leader have? Such signs, as noted by E. Zharikov and E. Krushelnitsky, may include the following manifestations:

Strong-willed, able to overcome obstacles on the way to the goal.
. He is persistent and knows how to take reasonable risks.

. He is proactive and prefers to work without petty supervision. Independent.
. He is mentally stable and does not allow himself to be carried away by unrealistic proposals.
. Adapts well to new conditions and requirements.
. Self-critical, soberly assesses not only his successes, but also his failures.
. Demanding of himself and others, knows how to ask for reports on assigned work.
. Critical, able to see weaknesses in tempting offers.
. Reliable, keeps his word, you can rely on him.
. Hardy, can work even under overload conditions.
. Receptive to new things, inclined to solve unconventional problems using original methods.
. Stress-resistant, does not lose composure and performance in extreme situations.
. Optimistic, treats difficulties as inevitable and surmountable obstacles.
. Decisive, able to make decisions independently and in a timely manner, and take responsibility in critical situations.

0 – 49 points– You are ready for decisive action only when you feel powerless and helpless, when you seem to be “pressed to the wall.” The rest of the time, they are ready to endure not only humiliation, but even undeserved reproaches, believing that such a sacrifice will one day be noticed and appreciated. There is a risk of falling into a dependent relationship, since you look for the much-desired confidence and self-sufficiency in another person, often ending up with an ordinary tyrant. Love to dream about how, thanks to some person or event, your life changes for the better, like in a fairy tale. Not at all daring to do anything on your own, to take risks and express yourself, your feelings and desires. But don’t despair, you just have to make an effort and work on yourself, and then everything will change. You can start with the techniques described in the article.

50 – 99 points– You are quite harmonious. You can act decisively without backing down in the face of difficulties. You are a conscious person, not principled, therefore, in situations that require a quick decision, you are ready to take responsibility, and where there are people who want power more than you, you will completely calmly give in. What distinguishes you from other leaders is that you are not driven by the need and thirst for power. You simply know how to organize something, but you don’t claim the laurels of the only winner, especially in moments where it is necessary to make a dishonest move. Although you are in balance, it won’t hurt you to sometimes still show initiative and perseverance, this will help you move even further. To support your desire for self-development and self-improvement, I recommend reading the article.

100 – 150 – You are simply a born leader who is sometimes even capable of going too far in your actions. You are confident in yourself and believe that there is only one correct answer - yours. Therefore, you often do not take into account the desires and needs of others. Why is this necessary, because they think incorrectly? You cope well with the assigned tasks, your team always delivers work on time, the results are excellent and the company is rapidly moving forward. But you don’t notice that employees simply “fall out” and “drive” themselves to meet your requirements. They consider you a dictator, they fear you, and at the same time they dream of being at least a little like you. I recommend reading the article to understand more about the advantages and disadvantages of such a tough position.
