The security mod SecurityCraft adds a lot of content to Minecraft to ensure your home is well protected from unwanted guests.

What's new for security in fashion

Laser tripwire

Place two laser trap blocks no more than 5 blocks apart from each other. A laser beam will appear between them. And if you cross this beam, the source block will produce a redstone signal, on which you can hang an alarm or some other mechanism.

Access console (keypad)

After installing the console block, for the first time if you right-click on it, it will ask you for an access code. The second and subsequent clicks on it, it will ask for this code. If the code is entered correctly, the interface will close and the block will emit a redstone signal for 3 seconds.

Mine

After placing a mine, any creature (with the exception of cats, ocelots and creepers) will immediately explode. The mine cannot be placed on flowers, cacti, glass or suspended in the air.

Codebreaker
If you have a code cracker in your hand when you click on the access console, the code cracker will automatically guess the code.

Reinforced door

This is practically the same as an ordinary metal door, only this one cannot be broken. Only the person who installed it can open this door. Now you don't have to worry about your vaults, which could be opened by almost anyone.

Fake water/Fake lava

These two substances act completely opposite to their original nature. You can easily be embraced by this lava or swim in it, but if you plunge into this water, you will immediately die from burns or fire.

Bouncing betty

This mine, if not stepped on, bounces and explodes in front of your eyes.

Iron trapdoor
This is practically the same trap door, only you can open it only with the help of redstone.

Access cards and card reader (Keycard reader/keycards)

The card reader will only give a redstone signal if you try to open it using a card of the same access level or higher.

Portable radar

This radar will issue messages in the chat to the player who installed it that someone is in its visibility range (by default the radius is 50 blocks).

Reinforced iron bars

Similar to a standard lattice, only this one cannot be destroyed. Build yourself a prison!

Inventory scanner

Place two scanner blocks as in the screenshot and a laser-like field will appear between them. Right-clicking opens an interface in which you can set item IDs. And if a player passes through this field and has items with this ID in his inventory, they will be taken from him. Weapons and valuables may be confiscated.

Retinal scanner

If you installed this block, then come close to it and a redstone signal will be given. All other players will not be able to activate this scanner.

Password-protected chest

Works similar to the console with code. First you set a code, and then it asks for this code to open the chest.

Reinforced stone

In fact, it is an ordinary stone, only it cannot be broken.

Alarm/Serena (Alarm)

After receiving a signal from the redstone, a siren will sound every two seconds.

How to protect your base? - Welcome to Security Craft mod 1.12/1.10.2 for Minecraft. Are you afraid that the items you've collected through hard work will be taken by unlikely thieves? There are many valuable items in Minecraft, but protecting them can be overwhelming. When playing Minecraft on multiplayer servers, it is very important to keep track of your own items. If you're not careful, players can quickly lose their hard work to the bad guys. However, Mojang never paid attention to this aspect, all they did was have players play for themselves.

However, thanks to the development of the mod system in Minecraft, players can bring anything into the game as long as they can code. This is how Security Craft was born. Security Craft owns items and blocks that allow you to protect your territory and things using automatic machines. Now, in order to penetrate into territories protected by Security Craft installed, an attacker will have to try much harder!

Security Craft brings security tools to the world of Minecraft players from simple things like iron doors, fences, alarms, safes, ...those that are "extremely dangerous" like boiling water, bouncing mines, burning rays...You must choose the best methods to deal with these dirty thieves!

If you respect privacy and don't like uninvited guests in Minecraft PE then SecurityCraft will allow you to protect your home or any other building in the game. After installation, the game will have a special scanner block, a door with a magnetic lock and a key with which you can open the door. In addition to the door security system, which can only be opened with a unique key card, the SecurityCraft mod also has reinforced blocks that are very difficult to break.

In addition, the mod has a whole set of new materials that will allow you to create all the protective blocks and cards for them, this makes the modification even more interesting.

How does the mod work?

To start using the mod you need to craft a special Card Activation Block, the manufacturing recipe for which will be below and place it at the level of one block above the ground - this is shown in the pictures below.

After you have already built a house on which you have placed a protective block, pick up the security card (crafting recipe below) and tap it on the block, after which the door will open.

Reinforced blocks

The point is to install protection that cannot be bypassed, but at the same time you can break the wall next to the door and not have to bother with breaking in. Therefore, the author added reinforced blocks to the SecurityCraft mod. These blocks include snow, sand stone, glass, grass, quartz, as well as ordinary and stone brick blocks, using which during construction you will further increase the level of safety and security of buildings.

Block/Item IDs and Recipes

  • Card (404) – 3 plastic + 6 red stones

Minecraft is quite an interesting, but unpredictable game, with a lot of danger and adventure. To protect you and your adventures, one of the interesting developers made an add-on called SecurityCraft. As most of you already understand, it provides special defense mechanisms that can easily cope with all ill-wishers.

After installing this mod, many interesting things will appear in your inventory. For example: you can equip your own home with armored doors. They are almost impossible to break. This means that entry into such a house will only be possible by invitation. In addition, in your game you will be able to see even more interesting blocks and mechanisms that will help you in the future.
By installing this mod, you can create a real training camp with your friends, where you will go through various obstacles in the form of protective devices. This will add even more action and exciting adventures to your game.

But you should also know that this mod is available for many versions of the game. If you are using an older one, or, conversely, new version, then you most likely won’t be able to take advantage of all the features of this add-on. So pay attention to this point. Now, to finally decide whether you need this mod in the game, read the description to the end, and only then decide.

Russian review of the SecurityCraft mod

Features of the SecurityCraft mod

As you already understand, this mod is used to protect your territory. The game content that will appear after installing the mod will be an excellent way to stop the actions of griefers. In the game you will see the following things:

Surveillance cameras;

Deadly lasers that react to movements;

Grilles and much more.

Using this mod you can not only protect your home, but also create a real prison from which no criminal will find a way out. In general, if you have a good imagination, then this mod will be the best addition to your game. You can use it in single player and, of course, on the servers.

I hope you enjoyed our review of this add-on for Minecraft. It is quite interesting and useful. Now you will not need to constantly return to the house and check for important things. Just download and make a real base that even the most experienced griefer cannot penetrate. Good game!
