“I love living! My goal is to do everything possible to keep people healthy, so that each person can maintain a high quality of life, work capacity and activity for as long as possible, and also receive beauty as a reward,” says Ekaterina Dibrova, founder and president of the RHANA Medical Corporation, which she is already successfully leading more than 17 years, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, full member of the International Academy of Sciences, candidate of economic sciences.

Ekaterina told us why biomedicine is needed and how to use it correctly, what placenta-based cosmeceuticals are and why your skin needs it, and much more.

Why is biomedicine needed and how to use it correctly

The current level of achievements of biomedical technologies in Japan makes it possible to solve many problems related to human health and active longevity in clinical practice. This revolutionary breakthrough was achieved through the creation of a number of biocomponents that formed medicines, dietary supplements, and cosmetics aimed at restoring the resource potential of the human body, the value of which determines our adaptive and protective mechanisms. We call this model the “natural matrix of longevity.”

The mission of our company is to integrate this model into the professional community as an effective and safe age management tool. Moreover, this model has existed in Japan for more than 60 years and relates to insurance medicine.

Health is the first responsibility in life! Thanks to the desire for a healthy lifestyle, we began to look 55 to 35, we know everything about drinking regime, organic products, detoxes. But 20 years ago no one thought about this. We talk a lot about prolonging youth and life, about preventive medicine, and therefore I am proud of my choice; more than 17 years ago I brought Japanese “gold” to Russia - the unique drug Laennec. As a prediction that there would now be such a boom in healthy lifestyles, it was at that moment that the appearance of the drug Laennec was more than timely.

It's not fashionable to get sick! Beauty, first of all, is health. You need to take care of your health, lead a healthy lifestyle, exercise and eat right. The mission of our corporation is the return of bioplacental medicine to Russia and the creation of first-class domestic drugs available to Russians. My life's work: Laennec placental therapy.

My philosophy is a comprehensive fundamental approach to health. Everything is designed not for short-term external results, but for efficiency, for a long-term state of active health.

Placenta-based cosmeceuticals: why your skin needs it

  • recovery and rehabilitation during particularly difficult periods,
  • age-related changes,
  • hardware and injection techniques,
  • photography and chronoaging,
  • even out skin color, hyperpigmentation,
  • dehydrated and dull skin

The course of placental therapy is not addictive. Individual selection of composition for the patient with a huge range. These are phytoextracts, phytoextractens, essential oils, amino acids and placenta in different concentrations with high pharmaceutical purification. The entire section of drugs refers to medicinal pharmaceutical cosmeceuticals, which indicates increased requirements to production, composition and effectiveness of application and immediate visible effect.

Experience with Japan

Japanese society is very traditional and preserves a unique ancient culture, but at the same time is at the forefront of world civilization. Largely thanks to the highest level of medicine, education and culture, Japan became a country of centenarians in the 20th century.

When I first arrived there, it seemed to me that this was a different world and a different planet, we were so different. First of all, because

The Japanese have a completely different approach to life: they are always committed to communication, they listen carefully to what is being said to them the world, and they know how to be incredibly grateful for everything the world gives them. But the main thing is that they listen to themselves and set their priorities. The Japanese are all about details, they are into the little things, they contemplate!

They care primarily about their health, and as a result, about their beauty. They are workaholics, this is a national trait, but at the same time they build their lives extremely rationally and protect their internal resources. Their environmental conditions are much worse than ours - and at the same time, according to statistics, they live much longer than us. Why is this happening? We called this concept “active longevity,” and this story is not about aging at all - it is about how to live well at any age. This is not only beauty, but also nutrition that replenishes the necessary supply of microelements, and the clean water that we drink and the mass introduction of biotechnologies, which the Japanese have long included in insurance medicine.

What cosmetics are the most innovative now?

The main trend is beauty through health. The second trend is natural bow. Japanese anti-age medicine states that the genetic program of the human body is designed for a life expectancy of 140–150 years. Japan is confidently moving towards this level, and we generously share with our patients the developments of our Japanese colleagues and our own patented techniques.

Today, the RHANA corporation is the exclusive distributor of the Laennec drug and a number of other Japanese brands, which allows Russians and residents of neighboring countries to receive Laennec therapy in more than 5,000 clinics or purchase the drug with a prescription in pharmacy chains. RHANA regularly conducts research into the effectiveness of the drug and develops new protocols for procedures.

Biotechnology of the future is perhaps the most important news trend of our time.

Positive thinking as a way of life

Our life is filled with endless striving forward, deadlines, plans, work issues. We have learned to find time for ourselves, and an appointment at a beauty salon or aesthetic medicine clinic has become our must-do item in maintaining beauty and youth. Positive thinking, ecology and purity of our consciousness are main reason and the method of longevity of the Japanese nation and it does not come easy. On this, as on beauty, you need to work hard and be in harmony with yourself.

Most of all, I love my job for the results that my favorite thing in my life brings!

President of the RHANA Medical Corporation Ekaterina Dibrova reflects on an integrated approach to aging issues and how, with increasing life expectancy, we can help each person maintain high quality of life, ability to work and activity for as long as possible

President of the RHANA Medical Corporation Ekaterina Dibrova reflects on an integrated approach to aging issues and how, with increasing life expectancy, we can help each person maintain high quality of life, ability to work and activity for as long as possible.

— Ekaterina, you are currently promoting a franchising project in the field of medical and cosmetology services based on a registered Japanese drug. Tell us how it all began and why you decided to collaborate with Japanese colleagues.

Let's remember what Japan is associated with. Above all, with longevity and excellent quality. In my opinion, the quality of Japanese pharmaceutical and cosmetic products should be a standard for manufacturers around the world. However, such goods from Japan are very sparingly represented outside its borders, including on the Russian market. This is due to the Japanese mentality; they are very reluctant to share their developments, especially high-tech ones, which fully applies to Laennec, the only placental drug based on low-molecular peptides, which is included in Japan in the state health insurance program for the nation. The Japanese generally have a very interesting approach to their health. What is their philosophy? They try to set the order of their life priorities, lead a high-quality lifestyle and consume exclusively healthy food. And by lifestyle I mean not only the absence bad habits and physical education, but also regular medical examinations and health prevention.

In addition, their desire to achieve harmony with the world around them and with themselves through the development of such qualities as restraint and contemplation is of great importance. As for consumer preferences, the Japanese try to include as many natural products as possible in their diet.

A healthy lifestyle also includes adherence to ethical standards. Having understood all this, I realized that from an ethical point of view, this placental preparation is an absolutely correctly created product, because it no longer belongs to either the mother or the child, and most importantly, it does not use either stem or embryonic cells.

Moreover, only an absolutely healthy woman can be included in the state program for placenta collection in Japan - all participants undergo a number of tests and analyses, the selection is very strict. But even if all these conditions are met, the placenta is considered suitable only if the birth was successful, the pregnancy is full, and the expectant mother has never traveled outside of Japan.

This is the attitude towards the quality of raw materials. Then, when it arrives at the plant, it is processed in strict accordance with GMP standards and in an absolutely sterile environment. I discovered this direction for myself 20 years ago, when I accompanied my husband - a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, a biophysicist, a famous scientist in the field of oncology - on a trip to a medical conference. In general, I am an economist by education, an organizer by nature, so, having undergone appropriate training in the specialty “Organization of Medical Affairs,” I founded own company and began to rebuild it literally brick by brick, because there was nowhere to expect any investment. Of course, my husband helped me scientifically and medically, and he still helps me to this day. We are one team. He is my teacher and chief censor.

Surely you have encountered certain difficulties. Tell us in more detail what path you and your company have taken personally to firmly occupy your niche in the market.

Difficulties are putting it mildly. For me, this work is comparable only to preparing a flight into space (smiles). It must be said that concluding a contract not only for the production, but even for the use of such a drug is not very easy. The Japanese are extremely responsible when choosing partners. I succeeded only because I found a Japanese company that could vouch for me and recommended me as a person who could be relied upon in business (although my husband and I’s reputation in scientific circles also played a role). A representative of this company, on one of his visits to Russia, was able to personally observe how we work and what kind of people we are. For the Japanese, it is very important to know who you are dealing with - a businessman who is looking for short-term profit, or someone who wants to build the foundation of a serious socially useful business. And when he was convinced that I was determined to solve an important social problem, he willingly helped me. However, only scientific research, correct positioning and advancement in the right direction can ensure a long life for any drug. But the most important point in this program, of course, is registration.

In Russia, officially registering such a drug requires incredible efforts, because it is very difficult to convince the entire medical community that it is effective remedy, the safety and effectiveness of which have been proven. This path took five years, during which an aesthetic direction appeared in our work - a comprehensive program of beauty and health, because we had to start somehow earning money in order to simultaneously promote the main idea, participating in research and collecting significant evidence base.

Finally, the drug was registered as a hepatoprotector because that is how it is registered in Japan. After the tragedy in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the issue of effective restoration of such a difficult organ to treat as the liver became very urgent. In 1953, Japanese scientist Hieda Kentaro began developing a unique placental drug, based on the dissertation of the famous Russian academician Vladimir Petrovich Filatov.

In general, what the Japanese have no equal in is that they find interesting innovations all over the world and refine them taking into account their unique technological capabilities, and they never hide whose original idea it was. Their job is to bring it to market as a finished product. In Japan, it is enough to register a drug once, and then the doctor, at his discretion, can prescribe it for a variety of diseases.

In Russia the legislation is different; the use of the same drug for treatment and prevention in different areas medicine is only possible if it is registered accordingly. Therefore, having noticed the effect of Laennec on the immune status of the Japanese, we conducted large-scale research at the Institute of Immunology of the FMBA under the supervision of Academician Rakhim Musaevich Khaitov, his scientific supervisor, proved that the drug is an immunomodulator and registered it as such. Now we have two large areas where it can be applied. Then, from the point of view of hepatoprotection and immunomodulation, we began to conduct research in other areas, especially in gynecology, because in Japan this drug is actively used both in reproductive health programs and in programs for menopausal and postmenopausal periods. But we didn’t stop there either, because main goal continues to be the introduction in our country of the Japanese model of maintaining health and longevity based on Laennec. This should be a social program, and for people of pre-retirement age, because, firstly, it relates to the field of preventive and restorative medicine and rehabilitation - therefore, it saves the state from the costs of treating the population for diseases acquired with age, and Secondly, financially quite “lifting”. This is an increase in the quality of life due to active longevity.

However, as you noted, you need to make money. But today's consumer has become more sophisticated and demanding. In this environment, business growth opportunities lie in increased productivity and efficiency. How to achieve this?

I found the answer to this question for myself by developing a franchising project that guarantees premium medical service to patients at very low costs. For 50 years, the LAENNEK CABINET® network has been developing in Japan, which is supported by the state program “Health of the Nation”.

This is a fully developed business model, within which we provide our franchisees not only with the drug itself and the technologies for working with it, but also with centralized advertising support and promotion assistance. There is a hotline where you can always contact any of the professors collaborating with us if you need advice regarding a difficult case.

Moreover, we provide free training for doctors at the educational medical center of the RHANA Corporation with subsequent certification of specialists, and until they complete such training, the purchase of a franchise will not be finalized. This is necessary so that we can be sure that inappropriate use of the drug will not discredit our name. Subsequently, we also regularly conduct professional development programs for specialists, author’s seminars, and master classes. This project is quite competitive and cost-effective, since it quickly pays for itself due to, I emphasize once again, the fact that the procedures are not expensive.

- What does this franchising project give to the patient?

First of all, “Laennec-cabinet” is a technology of active longevity, a service for the prevention of a healthy lifestyle. The patient passes quick diagnostics the state of your health. Then comes the selection individual program and course delivery. This is a unique service, and as global practice shows, patients, having used it once, remain committed to the procedures. The only explanation for this is high efficiency and sustainable results.

- What mistakes would you warn novice franchisees from?

DOSSIER:Ekaterina DIBROVA
President of the RHANA Corporation, Candidate of Economic Sciences, full member of the International Academy of Sciences. Co-author of numerous scientific articles, active participant and popular speaker at various conferences: “Formation of a healthy lifestyle as a personal and national priority” under the auspices of the Federation Council; All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Health of the population of the Russian Federation. Problems of legislative support"; international congress “The health of the nation is the strength of the state”, etc. Organizer of regular scientific and practical events with the participation of leading domestic and foreign experts. Laureate of the “Persons of the Year 2004” competition. Awarded the Honorary Badge of Public Recognition “Star of I.I. Mechnikov." RHANA Medical Corporation is a member of the Center for Community Development of Presidential Initiatives; Member of the Japanese Medical Society of Clinical Placental Medicine (JSCPM). The corporation includes: a network of clinics, distribution, pharmacies, a training center, LAYENNEK-ACADEMY.

First of all, you need to deal only with the original source, because when a new project appears on the market, many counterfeits immediately appear. There is no need to chase the apparent cheapness at the expense of safety and quality. A new business should begin by checking the franchisor’s “ID.” Don't hesitate to ask to see registration documents, including government franchise registrations, technology intellectual property patents, and so on.

- Tell us how you fight counterfeit goods. Is this a serious problem for you?

First of all, Russified packaging approved by Roszdravnadzor has been developed specifically for deliveries and sales in Russia. When purchasing the drug, you should pay attention to the branded Russified packaging, protective hologram and packaging seals; identification number of the produced batch of the drug (indicated on back side packaging, the same number is indicated on each ampoule) and information about the distributor (the mandatory presence of the RHANA logo). We popularize our activities on specialized medical portals.

Roszdravnadzor and the Russian Ministry of Health help us with this by sending letters to medical institutions stating that they do not have the right to purchase a counterfeit drug produced in Korea, which is not approved for use in Russia. This is a criminal offense.

- What is unique about this project for consumers from a medical point of view?

For the patient, along with the immediate effect of using the drug, the advantage of visiting the office is that, before prescribing the procedure, we promptly conduct a full examination (biochemical and clinical analysis blood, ultrasound examinations, etc.) in order to have information about both the current condition and chronic diseases. And only on the basis of the examination results, the patient is prescribed one or another program, and the effectiveness of the procedures is also determined by the test results.

How do you work with your consumer? How do you participate in generating demand in such a complex field of activity as yours?

In Japan, there is no need to create demand, because the third generation has grown up and uses such cabinets; for them this is in the order of things, and absolutely necessary things; they even call “Laennec” milk for the cell. But for Russia, creating demand is a difficult task. To explain to a Russian why he needs this, we have to have a half-hour conversation, because for our compatriots this is not entirely traditional medicine. Our goal is to make it a tradition to take care of your health, to prevent illness, and not to treat it. After all, all this used to exist - both medical examination and preventive medicine. We just need to get back to this. Then the demand for our services will increase. There is one more important point.

It is necessary to begin the formation of demand with educational activities in the ranks of the medical community through specialized congresses, symposiums, speeches by our opinion leaders (opinion leader, English - opinion leader, i.e. informal leader, authority in a particular field - editor's note .), who seriously support us, because they give their authoritative assessment, their expert opinion and thereby confirm the high quality of the product. But how to reach the end consumer? Through a network of specialized clinics, where specially trained doctors will work with patients, explaining to them which program they should pay attention to in order to improve or even restore their health.

In addition, surprisingly, in Russia public opinion is still formed through word of mouth, which has now reached new level- on social networks. This is especially true for public figures who actively blog and share their impressions. After all, our direct consumer will not come to a specialized exhibition or conference, except perhaps to the InterCHARM exhibition...

But for us, participation in it is, rather, not a cause, but a consequence, because our work has two sides of the coin, two aspects - aesthetic and medical. As I already said, for me, mastering the aesthetic component was a forced step, a way to earn money to promote the medical aspect. When the Japanese partners found out about this, they were very surprised, because they did not consider the use of their drug in this way. They really liked this idea, and they began to research how the drug affects the condition of the skin, its smoothness, how it contributes to the disappearance of age spots, etc. We, in turn, based on Japanese experience, have patented the Laennec-pharmacopuncture technology - this is a technique for complex regulatory effects on the body, which consists of making microinjections of the Laennec drug into biologically active points.

Let's talk about quality. What do you think is the significance of this concept in the modern world? Is the role of quality currently increasing or, conversely, decreasing?

I believe that in last years The importance of this concept has certainly increased. By the way, largely thanks to educational programs on television, such as “Mark of Quality” or “Test Purchase”. Go to any supermarket and you will see that the population has begun to pay attention to the expiration dates and composition of products. And it is right. This means that we are seriously thinking about how to improve the quality of life. Therefore, there should be as many such programs as possible, and as many independent authorities as possible should provide an expert assessment of a particular product or service. As for the drug "Laennec", for example, it was repeatedly tested by various organizations, in particular the Federal Budgetary Institution "Rostest-Moscow". We try to obtain competent opinions from as many independent sources as possible to confirm the high reputation of the product. But this is, in principle, a long process, especially for a drug.

What do you think constitutes effective manager, what do the concepts “manager” and “management” generally mean in your understanding? What personal qualities should a good manager have? What ethical standards must he adhere to?

A good leader, first of all, must clearly see the most effective goal, both general and related daily goals, and be able to set priorities. The second, no less important feature is the ability to form a professional team of like-minded people. Such teams are not born; they need to be raised to be confident in everyone, to sail in the same direction, in the same boat. My closest like-minded people have been working with me for 15 years. I value my team very much, because only the work of a well-coordinated team will allow us to achieve our goal, no matter how ambitious it may be. The third component is the ability to plan. Global goals imply that there must be clear algorithms for their implementation. But medical goals must be righteous. And you should never speak badly about your competitors. Even about your enemies. I always say: let him go in peace. Let your competitor do as he sees fit; It's his choice, not yours.

Based on your experience, could you derive a certain universal formula for success in life, in sports and in business? What does “business excellence” mean to you?

My formula for success is this: don’t block success within yourself. Many people start off very strong and then encounter some unforeseen situations and begin to doubt themselves. The words “doubt,” “I can’t,” and “I don’t know” should never be heard in my office. We must always find an effective solution to the issue, offer new options, and not state that there is a situation that we cannot cope with.

If the universe sends you a chance, you need to use it 100%, otherwise you should not become a leader. Of course it is thorny path, in which tests follow one after another, and depending on how you cope (or fail) with them, the next task is sent to you. But its solution will not provide a brilliant result if you have not completed the previous one. As for business excellence, for me it is, first of all, setting effective goals and achieving them, a combination of intelligence, the desire to improve and a decent appearance. These are the qualities of a true leader.

"Business Excellence" September 2015

The idea of opening a rejuvenation business came to Ekaterina Dibrova when she and her husband lived for some time in Japan. It turned out that they use a placental drug that gives the body strength and health. In the late 90s, Dibrova opened the first cosmetology clinic in Moscow. Gradually, the business grew and became a successful medical corporation.

The modern world is becoming committed to gender equality. Ladies confidently occupy vacant positions that previously could only be afforded by men. This trend is also noticeable in the world of finance. No one is surprised by the growing number of successful business women. Ekaterina Dibrova, who built her business empire on beauty and rejuvenation, often finds herself in the top ratings of enterprising ladies. How Ekaterina Alexandrovna managed to achieve success, how she began her career as a businesswoman and what merits she has, more on that later.

How the business idea was born

Ekaterina Dibrova began her commercial journey in the late 1990s. The choice fell on medicine, and the idea was borrowed from Japan. Catherine always accompanied her husband on business trips. Her husband Boris, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, biophysicist, oncologist, regularly visited the land of the rising sun on work visits.

The wife spent time alone, walking along the streets of the metropolis. Coming here, Dibrova was surprised at the physical health and neat appearance of the Japanese. The Russian woman was interested in culture and lifestyle. She began searching for the secret of Japanese youth. It turned out that local residents practice not only healthy eating and diet, but also Laennec therapy.

Miracle drug

After the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Japanese government required medical scientists to develop and test short time drug for the rehabilitation of the population. One of the scientists named Hieda Kentaro studied the works of the Russian scientist-physiologist V.P. Filatova.

Filatova’s doctoral work helped the Japanese find information that became the basis for the creation of the placental drug “Laennec” (hydrolysate of human placenta). The substance can quickly cure pathologies, rejuvenate the body and increase stress resistance. Over the course of 50 years, the drug was improved and won recognition among the Japanese. Now they use it in many beauty clinics.

The dream of Ekaterina Dibrova comes true

After the secret was revealed, Dibrova had a strong desire to transfer Japanese practice to Russia, in particular to Moscow. The task turned out to be difficult. First, strict requirements had to be met to register the drug outside Japan. Secondly, it required investments that no one wanted to give without any visible results. Thanks to the authority of her husband, she was able to gain the trust of her partners and financial resources. The capital was used to open the first Anti-age and aesthetic medicine clinic.

Even after the decision financial issues The Japanese side was in no hurry to conclude a deal. A delegation arrived in Moscow for the “bride” and scrupulously studied the Anti-age cosmetology clinic and its methods of work. Only after this, a cooperation agreement was signed and Dibrova received the right to use the placental drug Laennec on the territory of the Russian Federation. Thus, Russians now have access to hydrolyzed human placenta, which specialists use for face and body care through injections.

“I didn’t set myself the task of building a dizzying career. I just love what I do, and recently I finally understood why I do it. Now getting up in the morning, I say to myself: “Lord, thank you for giving me a path on which I can realize myself as a person who did not live my life in vain” (E. Dibrova in an interview with Svetlana Abramova, host of the TV project “10 Years Younger” ").

RHANA Corporation

Over a 20-year period, the Anti-age clinic has grown into a large corporation, RHANA. This is a network of 160 clinics, many pharmacies and training centers on personnel training. Residents of various cities of the Russian Federation, as well as European citizens, come for placental therapy. Clinics are located throughout Russia, from Moscow to Vladivostok. Among the most famous clients of RHANA: Andrey Malakhov and Olga Kabo.

The RHANA Corporation has created its own laboratory and is conducting research activities, together with Russian and foreign medical institutes, to find the key to aging. Over 20 years of operation, the company has achieved financial success and is firmly on its feet. Dibrova recalls how difficult it was to register Laennec in our country. The Ministry of Health did not want to conduct research for a long time, but nevertheless carried out the necessary procedures and registered the Japanese drug in the state registry as a hepatoprotector and immunomodulator.

Portrait of the owners of RHANA

Ekaterina Dibrova is an intelligent and well-groomed woman. However, the owner of a cosmetology corporation is unlikely to look different. The businesswoman claims that her good physiological state directly depends on her position in life. Even on the busiest day she finds time to visit the gym. Ekaterina Aleksandrovna drew parallels between brain and physical activity and came to the conclusion that both areas should not be overloaded, and work should be enjoyed.

At a young age, Ekaterina was seriously involved in figure skating, which confirms sports category. Love to active recreation accompanies the businesswoman throughout her life. In winter, she can go ice skating or skiing, spend time with her grandson on a hill and ride with him on a sled or cheesecake.

Despite her family background, the president of the Rhana medical corporation regularly participated in events in the field of medicine. I adopted my experience and shared my own. Intensive work bore fruit in the form of a number of respectable titles. Today Ekaterina Dibrova is:

  • Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences;
  • full member of the International Academy of Sciences, candidate of economic sciences;
  • member of the Expert Council on Healthcare under the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy;
  • member All-Russian organization quality as part of the Quality Committee medical care RF;
  • Member of the Japanese Medical Society of Clinical Placental Medicine (JSCPM).

Dibrova’s daily morning begins with 1 liter of water, which she drinks within 1 hour. Then Ekaterina drinks a glass of kefir with a handful of bran. Next, for breakfast, he eats empty buckwheat with olive oil. And this is not a diet, but a simple preference of personal taste.

*“I like water, this is how I wash my body. Of course, no one says that you need to drink everything in one gulp. I calmly drink in small sips while I’m getting ready for work and doing my make-up” (E. Dibrova in an interview with Svetlana Abramova, host of the TV project “10 Years Younger”)

Being an academician of Medical Sciences, Dibrova promotes healthy eating in the family. She herself does not adhere to diets and can eat any dish, but in moderation. For example, he loves fried potatoes which he can afford once a week. Loves sweets, pastries and cakes. As Ekaterina Alexandrovna herself admits, there is no desire to eat junk food and, thus, she does not have to limit herself in anything. After all, to prohibit something from the body means to plunge it into depression. And under no circumstances should you do this.
