Before I talk more about it, let's take a look at its TTX

Upgrading modules.

You should upgrade the modules for this tank in the following sequence:
1. First of all we install modules already researched on the predecessors of our tank: the top FuG 12 radio station and the 10.5 cm KwK 46 L/68 gun;
2. Further We research and install the top-end suspension E 75 verstärkteketten (it will allow us to install other top-end modules and improve the mobility of our tank);
3. Then top turret E 75 Ausf. B (unlike, the top turret is impenetrable, moreover, it will add a few units of strength, and will also allow you to install a top gun);
4. Next We research and install the top gun 12.8 cm KwK 44 L/55 (this gun will allow you to become the “king of randomness” when you get to the top);
5. And finally, the top-end Maybach HL 295 Ausf engine. A (it will significantly improve the comfort of playing on your tank).
Congratulations! You've made your E-75 top-notch!

Let's move on to battle tactics.

1.It's not difficult to fight against medium tanks. We have an advantage in armor, weight, safety margin, we have a powerful weapon that will not leave any medium tank any chance. In addition, the enemy will not be able to overwhelm us, thanks to the excellent turning speed of the chassis. In general, anyone medium tank will regret running into you. The main thing when fighting a medium tank is to keep your forehead towards it. Then the enemy will only have to run or hide from you, otherwise he will have to work a miracle to defeat you.

2. It is much more difficult to fight against heavy tanks, I would even say that these are the main opponents of our tank. But still, we have some advantages: our tank has excellent frontal armor, a powerful gun, good dynamics, and a slight advantage in safety margin. Therefore, most likely, it will be harder for the enemy to fight against you than for you to fight against him. Also, when fighting with heavy tanks, you should try to “clinch”; in a clinch you become a tank that is difficult to penetrate for any enemy, since he does not see the lower armor plate, and the upper armor plate is very difficult to penetrate. But do not forget that the enemy can shoot you through the hatch, which is located on the left side of your tower. Then you need to try to cover the hatch with your gun (lift it up) or rotate the turret left and right, so it will be very difficult for the enemy to get into your hatch. And if you are fighting at a long distance, then it is advisable to find cover that will hide your lower armor plate. This way you can calmly fire at the enemy, and it will be unrealistically difficult for him to penetrate the “pike nose” and the turret. And so, as you understand, the E 75 can easily emerge victorious from a battle with heavy tanks.

3. It’s also not easy to fight against, since they have powerful weapons that even our armor is not afraid of. Therefore, you need to try to get into the stern of the PT in any way: for example, knock down a caterpillar, or go around it around a building (if you are in a city or near a house), a stone or some other object. But it is not advisable to climb the PT yourself. It is better to wait for the help of an ally. Together, you can disassemble any tank without losing a single unit of strength. In general, it is advisable to fight against tank destroyers not at open area, where you can come up with many ways to deal with them.

4. Against self-propelled artillery installations fighting is very easy. Our powerful weapon, which has enormous damage, will leave no chance for any artillery (all artillery for our gun is almost always one-shot, and if you shoot, the probability of destroying the artillery with one shot is 100%!). But, despite this, you should not get out to meet the artillery (there is a risk of getting a good “splash”), it is better to act in the same way as with the AT, because the slightest unit of strength will be very useful to you in battle. You can also take advantage of an unexpected appearance (the artillery will not have time to quickly converge and hit you), or stick out only the tower from behind the hill and deliver a crushing shot at the enemy (it will be difficult for the artillery to hit a small tower sticking out from behind the hill).

1. Thanks to good vertical aiming angles you can try. This will give you a huge advantage in battle, since your tower is well armored and it will be very difficult for the enemy to penetrate it. I'm sure you'll like this tactic.

2. Thanks to good side armor, you can . You show your side from behind a building (a stone or some other object) at a large angle to the enemy (while hiding your armor plate), drive back a little, sticking out the turret, fire a shot at the enemy and move back to the building. What's the point of this technique? On the one hand, you simply crawl out from behind the building, exchange shots with the enemy and hide back... But the principle of this technique is that the enemy cannot penetrate your side at such a large angle. This means that you get out, fire a shot without losing a single unit of strength, and hide back.
You need to play with this tactic something like this:

3. Another tactic that you should also like is this. You expose your body parts (forehead and side) to the enemy at large angles, so it will be much harder for him to penetrate you. This tactic is preferred by most professional players as it can be very effective in combat (if used correctly of course). When placed in a diamond shape, even the lower armor plate becomes very difficult to penetrate.

4. In close combat, the following tactics will be very useful to you: if you do not have any cover, then try to wiggle your body left and right (or, as I call it, “dance”). This is very effective method, since it will be very difficult for the enemy to target a vulnerable spot, hit it and penetrate it.

Now I will tell you about the advantages and disadvantages of the E 75 tank.

Let's start with the advantages:
- excellent overview;
- good dynamics;
- powerful weapon;
- excellent booking;
- large margin of safety.
Now let's move on to the disadvantages:
- greater visibility;
- frequent crits of modules and crew;
- a large turret on the hatch (it’s easy to break through in a clinch);
- low speed rotation of the top turret;
- frequent fires when a shell hits the lower armor plate (due to the location of the transmission in the frontal part of the hull of our tank).

Additional modules

1) Since the E 75 has a long convergence, you need to set vertical stabilizer. The stabilizer reduces dispersion when the tank moves and reduces the time it takes to align.

2) Since our tank has a long gun reload, you need to install gun rammer. It will significantly reduce the loading time of the projectile.

3) Improved ventilation it won't hurt either. It adds +5% to all skills and abilities of each crew member, and most importantly, it reduces the gun reload and aiming time.
Additional modules will be very useful to you in battle, and you will not regret purchasing them.

Equipment.

1) You must have in battle auto or manual fire extinguisher, since the tank has weak fuel tanks, and the likelihood of a fire is high!

2) Big or small repair kit– to repair damaged modules.

3) Big or small first aid kit– to treat a shell-shocked crew member.

Every experienced player knows that going into battle without equipment is risky. Since it is impossible to play normally with a shell-shocked gunner or with a damaged ammunition rack. Well, a fire can damage many modules. Therefore, every self-respecting tanker is obliged to install equipment!

Ammunition.

1) 30 ;
2) 3 armor-piercing sub-caliber projectile(just in case);
3) And 3 high-explosive fragmentation the projectile is useful for shooting at weakly armored opponents (light tanks, artillery).

Upgrading the crew.

In total, the E-75 has five crew members:
1) commander;
2) driver;
3) gunner;
4) loader;
5) radio operator.

First perk.
1. Increase the commander’s “sixth sense.” This skill will allow you to know whether the enemy sees you or not;
2. Upgrade the “repair” perk for the rest of the crew. This skill will allow you to quickly repair a destroyed module (for example, a downed track or a damaged gun). This is very important for a heavy tank!

Second perk.
1. The commander should study “repair” so that the repair of the damaged module is very fast;
2. The driver-mechanic should master the “king of off-road” skill. Thanks to it, the tank will become a little more maneuverable, which is necessary for our E 75;
3. The gunner needs to learn the “sniper” skill. A gunner with this skill will inflict critical damage on the enemy more often;
4. The loader can pump in a “non-contact ammo rack.” This skill will increase the durability of the ammunition rack. This way the enemy will have less chance of damaging you;
5. The radio operator must study “radio interception”. This perk will allow him to increase his vision range.

Third perk.
Increase “combat brotherhood” for all crew members. This skill will reduce the reload time of the gun and increase the aiming speed.
Remember:
If you want to learn the “combat brotherhood” skill, you must equip all crew members with it. Learning this skill by multiple crew members will not produce the desired changes.

Fourth perk.
1. The “jack of all trades” skill will allow the commander to replace wounded crew members in battle;
2. The driver needs to learn the “smooth ride” skill. This skill will reduce the spread when the tank moves, allowing you to shoot on the move;
3. It would also be a good idea for the gunner to learn the “smooth turret rotation” perk. It will reduce spread when turning the turret;
4. In battle, it won’t hurt if the loader has the “desperate” skill. This perk will allow you to speed up gun reloading if the tank has less than 10% health;
5. The radio operator will learn the “repeater” skill. This perk will increase the communication range of allied tanks;

Fifth perk.
1. The commander should learn the “eagle eye” perk, this will again increase the viewing range;
2. A driver can learn the “virtuoso” skill. Thanks to this skill, our tank will turn a little faster;
3. The gunner can learn the “grudge” skill. This will allow you to see the enemy in your crosshairs for an additional two seconds;
4. It would not hurt the loader to master the “intuition” skill. This skill creates the possibility that, when changing the type of shells, the desired one is already loaded. This perk will be useful to you if, for example, you urgently need to load a gold shell instead of an armor-piercing one.
5. The radio operator can learn the “inventor” skill. This perk can be useful, for example, if your walkie-talkie is broken.
I won’t say further what perks to download. Since you will need to spend a lot of time to level up the fifth perk; and if you still upgraded the fifth perk, then further choose the skills in your opinion, since all the most important ones have already been upgraded.

Conclusion.

The E-75 is an excellent tank, with good armor, a powerful gun and good mobility. It is significantly better than its classmates. The E-75 should appeal to fans of heavy tanks. It has a lot of advantages and very few disadvantages. For E-75, dealing with even a level ten enemy is not a problem! This tank is intended for both active (thanks to excellent armor, powerful weapon and good mobility), and for defense (thanks to its armor, large margin of safety and weapon).
This concludes my guide. Thank you for your attention. Good luck on the battlefields!

In this World of Tanks video guide from JMR, we will get acquainted with the German tier 9 heavy tank – the E-75. Let's learn all the secrets of playing on this machine, its pros and cons.

In the early 40s of the 20th century, Germany advanced in the development of armored forces further than anyone else in the world. In 1942, the German leadership came to realize the need for a unified series of tanks of all types: from light to super-heavy. Thanks to this, it was planned to achieve a significant reduction in the cost of production, simplification of repair and maintenance. Design work continued actively, despite the difficult situation at the fronts and the acute shortage of raw materials. And by 1945, the first tanks of this series were supposed to begin entering the army. New tanks would have a lot of technical solutions that would make them much more combat-ready competitors. A night vision device, a gun stabilization system, simplified loading when moving over rough terrain and much more. Fortunately, before their production could be established, the Second World War ended in victory for the Allies. If these tanks could be put into production, then, given that factories in France and Czechoslovakia worked for Nazi Germany, as well as the appearance of jet aircraft and strategic missiles, the results of the war could have been completely different. However, this is already from the realm of fantasy.

For the first time after purchasing this tank in game World of Tanks, you get a vehicle very similar to its predecessor, the Royal Tiger. Same gun, same turret. But, despite the increased average level of enemies, a much stronger hull and a larger number of hit points, as well as premium shells, make the tank quite cost-effective even in stock condition. Free experience can be reserved for researching truly difficult tanks. You won’t be able to install even a top turret on the first chassis, which means that first of all you will have to either spend experience on increasing the tank’s carrying capacity, or money on “Reinforced Belleville Washers”. Next we open the turret and the top armor-piercing shells, which have almost the same penetration as the previous “Gold” ones. And the engines come last. To really enjoy this machine, I strongly recommend opening and installing all the top modules on it, however, this rule is true for any other vehicle in the game.

In the end, we get a tank that differs from its colleagues in the shop, primarily in terms of its greatest mass, which gives them almost maximum amount hit points. Moreover, it has an engine with a capacity of 1200 horsepower, which in terms of ton/weight is 13.1. For comparison, at the eighth level, Caernarvon and IS-6 have approximately the same indicators, which cannot be called slow. The E-75 reaches its maximum speed of thirty kilometers per hour surprisingly easily. Despite the worst certified total traverse speed of the chassis and turret - only 39 degrees per second - such a powerful engine and good chassis on a flat surface will not allow anyone to spin the E-75. The viewing radius of German TTs is standard even from 8 levels - 400 meters. And the top gun E-75 is used on tier 10 tanks. So it has very good characteristics. And although accuracy, penetration and speed - the information does not distinguish him from his classmates, the average damage per shot of an armor-piercing or sub-caliber projectile is almost half a thousand hit points. The low rate of fire - less than 4 rounds per minute - limits the potential MMG (upgraded machine gun) to approximately 1900 rounds per minute. But implementing it in E-75 is much easier than against it. This tank plays from cover and experiences reloading in safe place, setting the rate of fire that is convenient for him; not to mention the excellent armor, thanks to which not every enemy shot will cause damage to him. Well, what about the performance characteristics ( performance characteristics) we looked at the German, now let's move on to the tests.

How to penetrate an E-75 tank - armor tests

Let's see where one hundred tons of the tank's mass went and what they can oppose, for starters, to shells with a penetration of 170 millimeters (this is penetration of Fireflies and some premium tanks that were unlucky enough to get hit in the side against the E-75). The front, like most tanks, has a turret. And we don’t find any more weak points in the forehead of this weapon. The rangefinder bubbles easily break through in the diamond shape on the turret, and only at angles close to right angles does the hull begin to break through.

When fired by shells with 232 millimeters of penetration, the lower frontal part and the sides of even a slightly rotated turret are added to the accessible zones. And for the body to begin to break through, it must be turned towards the enemy at a fairly significant angle.

And finally, a gun with a penetration of 311 millimeters, our own sub-caliber shells can accurately penetrate both the VLD (upper frontal part) and the forehead of the turret from the front position. However, placing the tank in a diamond makes it possible to avoid damage from their hits.

I would like to draw your attention to one interesting point that we saw during the shelling - the ability to easily penetrate rangefinders if they are given a target. The fact is that at the base of these hemispheres there is not the same armor-piercing plate as in the rest of the tower. And if you manage to hit it in such a way that the projectile passes exactly through the armor window, then it will easily penetrate the 60-millimeter body of the rangefinder located at the entry point, just at a right angle.

Let's summarize. In front, if you hide the lower armor plate, this will give you about 280 millimeters of armor in the VLD good protection armor-piercing shells from enemies, even when fired at point-blank range. The frontal plate of the turret, 252 millimeters thick, is located at a slight slope, but most of it is occupied by the gun mantlet, the penetration of which is very difficult to predict. In a diamond, you can try to target the NLD (lower frontal part), the sides are very reluctant to break through, except in close combat with a significant turn and best of all at the base of the front roller. But the guns of most Tier 8 heavies will be able to inflict damage on the sides of the tower if they are carelessly exposed to shots. And only if you manage to get the E-75 to the side, the side housing, 120 millimeters thick, becomes accessible. Although the tracks are quite capable of absorbing damage from guns, with a penetration of about 180 millimeters. But karma will not show anything unexpected.

Review of the E-75 gun

Let's move on to shooting. With version 1.5.0.4, shots are significantly more likely to land close to the crosshairs, and the penetration of armor-piercing shells is quite enough to get the point across to most opponents at any distance.

Second test: shooting at full aim at medium distance (200 meters). Along the way, we’ll learn something else about the use of “Combat Brotherhood” and ventilation. Many players believe that individually they are pointless, but both in themselves give certain noticeable results. In shooting tests on this tank, I used a 100% crew without any upgraded skills, but with ventilation installed.

Now let’s compare the results with shooting from the same gun on the VK 45.02 B. tank, which, in addition to the installed ventilation, had a crew with a pumped-up “Combat Brotherhood”. As you can see, the difference of 2.5% is clearly visible.

Shooting from a hundred meters while moving is not worth comparing with Tapk. Since the significantly increased speed of the E-75 gives greater dispersion when firing, immediately. But the result clearly demonstrates that this tank does not encourage firing at random without full aim, especially given the 15-second reload time.

Battle tactics for the heavy German tank E-75

So, the E-75’s armor is, without exaggeration, very good. Although it has very decent dynamics for its mass, it allows you to tank damage from almost any opponent. Add to this excellent weapons and we get one of the most comfortable tanks in the game. The correct position of the tank in relation to the enemy is a rhombus. By slightly playing with the hull to the left and right, we can easily achieve the desired attack on the sides of the DVD within 300 millimeters, which makes penetrating the E-75 a difficult task for any combat vehicle in the game. At least if NLD is hidden. Speaking of the NLD, the E-75's transmission is located right behind it. Therefore, penetration into this area often causes critical engine damage or even a fire. Remember this and try to protect this area of your car.

The E-75 feels great anywhere in the battlefield. Good dynamics allow you to choose and occupy convenient positions at the beginning of the battle, and even make quite long forced marches as necessary, not to mention the possibility of quick and short movements. Quite accurate penetrating weapon and good review They will make the game more effective from the second line, in the light of others and behind the backs of their armored allies. Thanks to its own armor, the E-75 fully allows it to be at the forefront of the attack in battle and survive in the thick of the battle.

And, of course, the German will be able to tank damage on defense for a long time. The main thing that this tank should not do on Random is stand in ambush. In such a defense firepower should not spend time aimlessly while allies spend their hit points, bringing the end of the battle closer.

Equipment: equipment, crew skills and consumables for the E-75

Now let's move on to the configuration of this machine. First and second set of crew skills: "Sixth Sense", "Repair" and " The Brotherhood of War" In the third, we improve visibility at the expense of the commander and radio operator. And for the gunner we select “Smooth turret rotation”, which will somewhat reduce the dispersion of the gun, thereby, in some cases, slightly reducing the aiming time. The “Sniper” skill may be slightly less useful, which will occasionally allow you to inflict additional damage due to fire or reduce the enemy’s performance by disabling his modules. The choice of useful skills for a driver is quite wide. “King of the Off-Road” will allow you to more fully realize mobility, “Battering Master” will do good to the enemy team even at low speeds, and “Cleanliness and Order” will burn a little less often if your playing style does not involve special concern for the NLD. The Loader learns the Desperado skill. The excellent armor of the E-75 and the next E-100 will often make it possible to take advantage of the advantages provided by these skills. As with most other German aircraft, the likelihood of fires if hit head-on requires the use of a standard set of equipment: a fire extinguisher, a repair kit and a first aid kit. In addition to the traditional rammer, the equipment includes a vertical stabilizer. And we occupy the last slot with a module from the following list. Coated optics will increase the viewing radius by 10%, ventilation will improve all characteristics of the tank, reinforced aiming drives will further reduce the aiming time, and super-heavy anti-fragmentation, despite the significantly reduced amount of artillery in battles, does not lose its relevance if you often ram the enemy. Although the E-75 was designed much earlier than all the other Tier 9 tanks, except perhaps its counterpart VK 45.02 B., it is certainly one of the best tanks in the game.

And finishing my World review of Tanks about the heavy German tank E-75, we want to fully feel all the power in exciting battles behind the wheel of this vehicle.

Heavy Tank E-75 from German history. Excellent in its maneuverability and also has excellent armor. The tank is good both in attack on the first line and can stand up for itself in defense. Model E-75 is the predecessor model of the mighty E-100.

Historical facts of E75

As the Series E is known German tanks was only on papers, not a single prototype was created, it follows that not a single photograph was taken either. In the Ministry of Armaments of the 3rd Reich in 1942, a department was formed, which was tasked with developing the latest tanks"Series E". We will talk about the E-75, it was designed as a heavy tank with a net weight of 75-80 tons. Its purpose was to replace the Tiger ll, since it was not reliable in combat, its production was very difficult and time-consuming. According to the Ministry's estimates, the E-75 was supposed to be put on the assembly line in 1945, but it remained only in sketches.

E75 guide

The E 75 is a classic of German heavy equipment. The E75 has excellent, strong armor, its gun has good accuracy, shot power, and the combat vehicle has a high silhouette. In addition to all this, there is weak armor on the sides and stern; the result is an updated, rich Tiger II.

A fully upgraded E 75 proves to be an excellent heavy tank that can work wonders on the battlefield. Distinctive feature E75 from other heavy tanks is the chassis. As is already known, the heavy tanks of the Germans were nicknamed slow-moving tanks, since they maximum speed 40 km/h, but despite this it shows excellent acceleration dynamics, the E75, with a 100% studied crew, shows good results when turning on various soils. It should also be noted that the tank has good survivability of 1920 HP.

The combat vehicle has excellent accuracy and excellent aiming, but the damage is relatively low compared to its counterparts per shot, until the top 128 mm gun is installed. But it has one drawback: the top gun has a low rate of fire. On a tank, the turret showed itself to be good, it has excellent armor, but the turret's traverse speed is less than the hull's traverse speed, because of this, when the tank maneuvers, its sight is slowly aimed at the enemy.

Breaking through e75

If all crew members have several perks, then it is better to level up the “Combat Brotherhood” skill for absolutely everyone.

E75 equipment

Selection of equipment for E75:
Gun rammer- unchanged vehicle equipment in WoT, provides an advantage in reloading weapons and increasing DPM;
Vertical stabilizer– will help reduce the aiming circle by 20% while moving, and when stationary it will speed up the aiming circle of the gun, increasing dominance over opponents while simultaneously fighting with superior enemy forces.
Improved ventilation- the equipment will improve accuracy, speed of fire, hull rotation, of course there is an alternative, installing a super-heavy anti-fragmentation lining, which will increase your life expectancy in the game in the event of an artillery strike.

Equipment for equipment is standard, you can do without premium equipment:

Fire extinguisher – mainly used to extinguish fuel tanks;
Repair kit – necessary for repairing damaged equipment;
First aid kit - designed to treat incapacitated crew members.

25 armor-piercing shells;
8 armor-piercing sabot shells (just in case);
3 high-explosive fragmentation shells for shooting at low speeds armored tanks and for knocking down the capture.

Conclusion on the E75 tank

Advantages of E75:

— Good dynamics of acceleration up to 40 km/h compared to the E-100 whose speed is 30 km/h;
— Excellent armor for the frontal part of 160 mm and the top turret of the tank 252/160/160;
— Excellent visibility of 400 meters, compared to “Tigr ll” visibility of 380 m;
— Powerful top gun 128 mm with damage 490/490/630 Hp.

Disadvantages of E75:

— High silhouette and visibility compared to its predecessor;
— Weak side armoring 120 mm;
— Visible tendency to damage internal equipment and crew;
— Long gun reload time 15.7 seconds;
— Low rotation speed of the top turret;

The E75 tank is excellently balanced, has excellent damage and armor on the front of the tank and turret, has good maneuverability and an elevated silhouette. Having studied the E75's weaknesses and strengths, in battle you can become a team leader and fight alone against an enemy that outnumbers you.

Since so many players believe that the German TT branch is simply fat and difficult to penetrate (although this is not the case), I decided to write a guide about ways breaking through e75.

The E75 is a heavy tank with unusually good turning and penetration. I myself recently switched to this tank on the E100.

When the second branch of German heavyweights was introduced, a cloud of topics appeared on the forum from players, where they screamed that there was no balance and the world was not fair. The world is certainly not fair, but there is balance.

Penetration zones e75 WoT

It must be said right away that the tank is quite strong and difficult to penetrate tanks up to level 8 (9). Of course, in this situation, tanks stand alone, but they often ricochet. When I played on this tank, I did not pay attention to tanks and tanks up to 7 level (unless, of course, you were standing stern to them).

Frontal armor penetration zones

If you play on a tank up to level 9 inclusive, then at long distances it is not wise to shoot 75 head-on. You will be able to get through, but not often.

At close range we shoot at the NBL (lower armor plate) in a completely standard manner.

Let's see vulnerabilities of the E75 tank.

If your goal is to cause damage, then shoot at the NBL. In other places there is a high chance of damage without damage.

The tracks are easily knocked down by almost everyone. As you can see in the diagram, the most profitable thing will be to kill the driver.

E75 side armor penetration zones

The situation with crits is not the best for us. If we damage the turning mechanism, then this will not give us much, because the E75 turns well on the harp. Damaging the radio or tanks also does not make much sense. In general, shoot for damage.

E75 stern penetration locations

In fact, I don’t really understand why I’m writing this point. Because the rear of all tanks is the most vulnerable spot and can be penetrated by almost everyone. If you want to ruin the life of the enemy E75 as much as possible, then shoot at the fuel tanks.

Author's opinion about the E75 heavy tank

When I played on this tank, I realized that this is the BEST TT among the ninth ones. Very well balanced. The player’s capabilities on it are not limited. The tank can be quickly transferred from one part of the map to another. If you have direct hands and a sense of rhythm of knowledge of the places where tanks will be penetrated as well as the general gameplay, the tank truly becomes the king of the map. On many tanks, it happens that there is a bias towards armor, but the gun is weak, in some places there is little armor, but the gun is strong. And our experimental one is the golden mean. Moreover, it leads to a truly wonderful tank E100. By the way, 100 has similar penetration points, excluding the tower.
